Q:Do these colours match?
I think your question is a bit ambiguous since you haven't defined what you need the colours for (the product, outcome) Based on the yarn, I'm just assuming your knitting something for Winter and so I would say that those colours do not match (for a scarf or mitten, or tuque of some kind)Like it said it really depends on what your using them for, for a war propaganda poster, I suppose its fineHOWEVER, If you simply mean generally, then I would say they dont, the gree, yellow, and black match, the the indigo/violet is out of placeI would suggest getting a slightly more prominent violet colour, a slightly brighter yellow, and a more neutralised green (closer to pea colour) So that is my opinion on the colours but I wish you luck in whatever your trying to achieve D
Q:I'm researching what to do after completing a crochet project. There are numerous websites that discuss blocking- the methods- what blocking method to do for each type of yarn- the necessity of blocking, depending on whether you crochet a scarf, or a sweaterRight now, I'm crocheting a stoleSo far, the stitches are (finally!!!) coming out nicely, and I imagine this stole will keep someone warm.Based on your experiences, if you were crocheting a stole using 75% wool, 25% nylon yarn, would you block it, or just let it flow?
Install a dripper, buy a cigar humidifier, or buy a small waterfall fountain specially designed for reptile tanksAlso, make sure you are using a reliable humidity gaugeThe cheap little needle ones tend to not be totally accurateYou might want to invest in something more accurate, such as a humidity gauge with a probe, etc.
Q:HelloThanks for stopping byI was wonder which yarn is best for hairless pet? I'm planning to crochet a sweater for my hairless petThanks
bake at 350 - 20 minutes per pound
Q:alright so when i was young (like really young about 6,7 yrs old) i had very blonde hairas i got older it got darker and darkerim 14 now and i decided awhile ago to do highlights so over the past 2 years id say, ive been getting high lights and i have this light blonde hair with darkk roots and under neath my hair is darker toohighlights have become way to expensive for me now since i need them done so often cause of my roots and its really damaging my hairalso i need to straighten my hair with a flat iron or else it looks terrible ughh my hair is so damaged and i need some advice! i have green eyes and tan skin.should i die my hair to light brown to solve the highlighting problem?.im not sure if i would look good with it will it make me look extremly paleplease help i dont know what to do! ( by the way my hair is pretty long like about just reaching the bottom of my chest.) should i cut it shorter? please help id really appreciate it! thanks
hi! your hair is too damaged so i dont recommend dying itget some layers, long layers so your hair wont bet too shortalso ask to get it V shape at the bottm, it looks good.some of the highlights will come out tooif you need to straighten your hair everyday, you will need to use a thermal hair protecter(heat defense) try Alberto Miracle MistIt works for curling or straighteningi always use it on my clientsit helps control frizz and conditions and protects your hair all at the same time leaving it smelling wonderfulfor real ;p btw your straightner should be ceramic ;p i hope i helped D
Q:Can a blow dryer damage hair as much as a iron curly/straightener can?
Yes!!! I would spray in a thermal protector before styling my hairI also let hair dry as much as possible before starting the to blow dryThere are also Ionic dryers with ceramic that are fast and less damaging.
Q:Dont say peek a boo or hide and seek or coloringThose are all givensPlus he's a little old for peek a booMy son is 2 and it's so cold outside that our normal routine is all messed upWe usually spend up to 3 hours a day outsideBut since it's in the 30's today that won't be an optionMy son has a large play room and tons of toys but I wanted some easy activites that we can do togetherANy ideas?? Q:Whats the best wall insulation to use for and existing house that has never had any insulation in them?
Existing house suggests a couple of things which you left out of details1Is the interior just studs? 2If there is drywall and studs, it might be that even blown in from an attic/crawl space would be blocked by cross bracing between the studs Best is relative, and R values are measured in various forms and materials, IE: 1 inch foam is approxR 3 Some added details might help you get better answersDOC
Q:A portion of my attic is a walled off room with insulation on exterior of walls and there are 2 AC vents up there (same unit for whole house)It's a third floor, but still only accessible through a ceiling/ladder door that is almost always closed (and not sealed very well if at all)Does anybody know if it's more efficient to leave those vents up there open or closed?Ps I live in south Texas.the AC is running majority of the year
The best resolution to the problem, and probably the most costly - sorry, is to install a seperate HVAC unit for only the second storyA quality built house will have this alreadyLess expensive - Attic fans are a good suggestionPut fans at the top of the stairs to pull cool air up from the 1st floor Install a window air conditioner in the one room you have the ceiling fan, that is assuming it is the only room you live in upstairsInstall a ceiling fan at the top of the stairsDo you have dual pane windows with low E? Plant trees and plants outside to shade the houseWhen you re roof use a lighter color material as to not absorb so much heatPut in a pool?
