- Q: My cat scratched my hand and as I was sitting there pressing on it, I got to thinking on how pressing on the cut for a little bit stops it from bleeding?
- Blood is composed up of differant things. Red blood cells carry oxygen throught your body, white blood cells fight infection, and platelets clot your blood. By putting pressure on the cut, you are helping the platelets clot your blood.
- Q: What is the best pressing cream or oil that i can purchase and that also stops hair from reverting so easily?
- Every hair stylist i've been to doesn't use any. Moisturize your hair before and after you press it. I just use simply gloss after i've blow dryed it. Then I apply more gloss after it done.
- Q: i'm 5ft8 and weights 185 and i am 17 male. when i was about 170~175 pound last time i remember doing 4~5 reps of 185 pound bench press. i regulary benched 6~8 reps of 135 pound. is it bad?and i haven't go to the gym for long time because i really don't have time to go there right now. how much weight do i need to bench at my weight? and i saw some skinny guy can bench more than me.. how can guy who is smaller than be can bench more?

- Q: I had to press 5 different types of leaves from my yard for part of my science project. I put newspaper, then the leaves, then a little more newspaper, then my english textbook, a dictionary, and a gallon of water. I let it sit for a week. My results:Australian bottle tree, Australian willow, kumquat bush, and lemon tree leaves worked perfectly.But... the ficus leaf (still got flattened and everything) is BROWN!What happened?I need to know ASAP so I know if I should try the ficus again or do a different type of leaf. I only have time for one more round of pressing before the project is due!Thanks :)
- Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).
- Q: i received a rose yesterday and im persistent to make it last for years with out it falling apart!!! when i was a kid i used to press cosmos which turned out wonderful... now i have a half opened rose which i want to press.. any helpful deas?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i want all the petals showing, how can i make it still look so lovely as it does now???????
- It is nearly impossible to keep a rose looking fresh forever. To press it, you will have to take apart the rose because of the fleshy bits underneath. It will not look the same as fresh, not only in shape but also color. Check out the sources. Some other ideas are drying the rose by hanging it upside down or placing it in a box with silica gel, but then it will still not look fresh. Freeze-drying the rose can be done professionally and seems to produce the best results.

- mostly thumb is used. i use my left thumb but its entirely up to u - use whichever thumb u feel most comfortable with!
- Q: Im doing a Physics project, where I have been asked to create a hydraulic press. It must use pistons and syringes will not suffice. However finding the right guides to building such a thing has been a hassle. Anyone have any insight? Pictures demonstrating what needs to be done also would be of great help. Thanks!

I would Press charges because if he did this to you and if you have any one who is a witness that would even help you more but call the Police Now and explain to them what happened he should NOT disrespect you and to slap you I would put him in Jail for assault charges as soon as you can.
