- Mine took about a week, but only the first 4/5 days were really bad. Taking something with ibuprofen or anything meant for swelling or an anti-inflammatory should help :) Don't try ice though, that just made it worse for mine.

- Q:I got my industrial pierced on august 17th of this year. About 2 weeks ago this little bump formed on the outside of the bottom hole...i was wondering if i took it out to get it cleaned really good since its kinda hard to fully clean it would that affect it in any negative way? Its only been a month so im a little apprehensive about taking it out but it would only be for a couple minutes...please help!!!!!!!!!!
- the bump on the out side is only because when the needle went thru it was pusshing cartlidge or bone out. kindaof bending it. aventually. after a acouple mounth the bump will settle down and go away, just clean the hole twice a day and keep ur hand and hair off of it so that it can heal as quickly as possible without infection =) hope that helps
