Q:I have a lifted 2001 Gmc sierra 1500hd it has a 6 inch suspension lift with a 3 inch body lift. Recently my left front wheel has been shaking causing really bad vibrations all over. They occur more often at a slower speed such as driving down the street. My tires are worn out pretty badly in the front. i believe I need an alighnment and someone told me my tires are off balance would this explain the strong vibration and the front left wheel shaking or is it something else.

I think there is problem in suspension system.

Q:Thougth I‘d try again on this one. Still have the rear thumping sound in the rear end. I spoke with my mechanic, who said that the shocks are solid as is the entire suspension system. HELP!

check the tires/alignment. if the tires have any cupped or chopped wear, that is where your noise is comming from. even a little can make the noise your discribing

I participate on Yahoo! Answers because i like learning new things, i like to voice my opinions, i like to help people with the knowledge i hold and also because its entertainment. the points levels system do not really motivate me, i would participate the same amount without a reward system. i think we could improve Yahoo! Q:We have a house which was built in 1979. In the living room, there‘s a large mirror assembly. About 4 feet tall and about 6 feet wide. They give off a bronze color and have nice tapered edges. It looks nice to us, but we‘re selling the house and getting comments that it is outdated. We want to take it down, but we can‘t figure out how to do it. It has 5 vertical panels which look to be held up by two tracks. One on top and on on the bottom. We tried sliding the mirrors out, but they won‘t budge. The space behind the mirrors is so small that we can‘t see behind it to see if there‘s epoxy or something gluing the panels to the wall. The channels are pinched very tight to the mirrors on top and bottom. I don‘t want to start prying them away from the mirror unless I know that this is how to remove them for sure. Other than breaking them, any ideas?

You should get a manual on this subject to better understand the difference.But it is just like it says.On an axle/leaf spring or coil springs.The wheels are not separated by what goes on with each wheel from one side to the other.With Independant suspension, each wheel is separate from each other from what is happening to them in different situations.Each wheel is independant of each other, ( no axle) to combine them.Each wheel has its' own support, strut.

It's your car. Removing the air bags will decrease it's resale value. If you want a 'second opinion', I've seen kits on OKorder, also.

Maximo, you can buy anything these days, the question is should you? NO! Your car is fine, if you want more response, go for a slightly lower profile, high quality tire. Screwing around with expensive adjustable aftermarket suspension components will absolutely ruin your car.
