Production process: it uses the high quality low carbon steel wire rodprocessing, is made of high quality low carbon steel, the drawing, pickling, annealing, galvanizing. The cooling process and processing.
Characteristics: galvanized steel wire has good toughness and elasticity, the highest volume of zinc can be up to 300 grams / square meter. Has galvanized layer thickness, strong corrosion resistance and other properties.
Application: galvanized wire products are widely used in architecture, handicrafts, silk screen preparation, highway barriers, product packaging and daily civil, and other fields.
Galvanized wire and divided into hot dip galvanized wire and cold galvanized wire (galvanized wire) to distinguish:
Hot dip galvanizing is dipping in zinc liquid heating melting, fast production, coating thickness but not even, the minimum thickness of the market allows the 45 microns, the maximum of 300 microns above. Color is dark, zinc metal consumption, infiltration layer is formed with the base metal, good corrosion resistance, hot dip galvanized outdoor environmentcan keep decades.
Cold galvanizing zinc (Galvanized) is gradually plating metal appearancethrough the current direction in the plating tank, production speed is slow, uniform coating, thin, usually only 3-15 micron, bright appearance, corrosion resistance is poor, generally a few months will rust.
The hot dip galvanized, electric galvanized low production cost.
Cold galvanized and hot dip galvanized difference:
Cold galvanized and hot dip galvanizing is the difference between the amount of zinc, can identify them from the color, cold galvanized colorhair silvery white with yellow. Hot dip galvanized hair white.
- Q: I have a 2002 Chevy blazer 4.3 motor we'll I found some wires that look like trailer wires on the back of the car and I'm trying to connect a 4flat trailer plug in. So the wires are following on the car. Yellow is left blinkerGreen is right blinkerBrown is running lights Blue is brake lightsWhite groundSo the 4 flat wires are as following White groundYellow is left turnGreen is right turnBrown is taillightsSo my question is how can I get my brake lights and running lights on the trailer plug in. Cause I have 5 wires on my vehicle and only 4 on my trailer plug. Please help
- You have to splice into the rear brake / turn signal / running light wiring and splice in the trailer harness cable. @jo, If you have a separate (blue) brake light circuit, you will need an adapter module to connect the 4 wire up.
- Q: Im replacing the factory rear speakers in my car but cant figure on which wires are positive and which are negative. I went on a site for impalas but the color wires they have listed are not the same color wires in my car your help will be appreciated.
- your positive is always going to be the lighter color or the one with the stripe running down it
- Q: Or can stranded wire of the same gauge be subsitituted for solid wire without any consequences? The reason I ask is because its for a massive 4kJ capacitor discharge circuit, and I need all the energy delivered to the power coils im using, cant afford to have much leakage inductance.
- Stranded wires have slightly higher inductance than solid wires, but this is noticable only on transmission lines and larger conductors. if you are only using a short conductor, i don't think the inductance of the wire will affect the system, unless the wire is coiled.
- Q: the 2 wires that is connected from the key hole is cut .. how to fix or replace?
- If there enough wire left on each side of the cut, say 1, then you could bear about 1/4 of the wire on each side and solder the wires back together making sure you are soldering the same wires together and wrap each soldered connection in electrical tape so they are not able to touch each other. Then a final wrap of tape around them both. If you are not up to soldering you could go to an auto parts shop and get a crimp connector to do the job, again bearing of wire is needed to get a contact through the cut area. If the cut is closer to the switch then there is no option but to replace the switch.....
- Q: I have a phone line with 8 wires that is wired to the house, how do you select which wire to use on a 4 wire phone line?
- This Site Might Help You. RE: how to connect 4 wire to an 8 wire phone line? I have a phone line with 8 wires that is wired to the house, how do you select which wire to use on a 4 wire phone line?
- Q: I have this ipod cord in my car to play music off of, and at first it started cutting out. I would move the wire in a specific spot to a position to where it would work. Then eventually it just stopped working all together, so im assuming the wires inside have been damaged. Now as i said before in a specific spot so im pretty positive i know where it is broken at, but ive never actually spliced a wire, or soldered before. This is where i need help. What tools and materials will i need to fix the wire? Also, how would i fix it? Thanks for the help in advance!
- The wires in those little patch cords and headphones and stuff are often very fine and hard to splice or solder. You could get you some wire cutters and wire strippers and a soldering iron and some electrical tape or shrink wrap and go at it, but it would probably be just as well to get another cord.
- Q: four lead black wire coming from fan coil motor for a recessed wall unit; ribbed on one side, smooth on the other side, and two flat sided wires in between. Which wire would be common and which wire would be hi, med, and lo?
- Need more info. What voltage ? Different colors on wires? White usual indicates common or the neutral. Black is your hot for 120 usuAlly. Hi med And low Are power settings on the fan I don't believe ud have to wire them seperatly. Repost this with more specific info and I'll answer it. I'm an electrician And have a master electrician with me so if u give more info I can help.
- Q: I have noticed that a room in my house is improperly grounded, and it needs to be redone. We do know that most of the wiring is made with a single core, copper wire. Would there be a hazard with using a multi core (speaker) wire for the grounding, or should we do the wiring with a single core wire.
- No professional electrician would ever use speaker wire to wire a house.
- Q: Im cleaning up some of the wires in the engine bay and getting rid of ones i dont use. Right now theresthe pos side bat post runs down to the starter. From the starter there is a thicker wire and a skinny wire. In the thicker wire there is a wire that goes to the post on alternator. Both wires from starter run over to a relay maybe ithas a stud sticking out and has a wire that goes from the bottom of it to the fuse box. Im in middle of relocating the battery into the trunk so what wires can i eliminate and what wires have to go,to the battery?
- Yeah I hate to say it but moving the battery to the trunk is a bad idea. Especially if you don't know what all the wires are there for. Some are grounds others are hot. You switch them you will burn something up.
- Q: Need ro know where to put the wires correctly
- there are 2 110 volt wires black 1 neutral white and 1 ground green, how to hook them up if you don't know call an electrician before you burn the house down or kill someone.
