- Q:I have a big LCD screen t.v.its not just fingerprints that im worried about.so i had to lift it onto my stand which is decently high, (i was moving into a new place so i was sweaty) and i had to use my head as leverage to help get it up all the way, so there is a sweat smear on my tv, probably 6 inches by 4 inches.and it will not go away no matter what i use.ive tried a wool sock, t.v cleaning, a wet towel.is there anything to remove sweat from a tv?
- Try that soap called, LAVA and smear it on a soft cloth (polyester) and lightly put water on it. Then try to clean your screen.
- Q:I noticed that every practitioner has patches of their academy as well as possible sponsors, or companies/affiliations they want to affiliate themselves with. My first competition is in December and I‘d like to show my my school (Go Rams! 8-0). However I don‘t want my patch to be embroidered. The patch itself cannot have borders and needs to be flat. - Make sure that wearing the patch is approved by the school you train in so check with your teacher and the affiliation you are planning to represent. The patches you see on people's gi are not just some random patches you get to pick. Wearing the patches is a 2 way street you showing your affiliation and representing the school where you compete and them wanting to be represented by you. For example if your school does not like UFC it would be improper to go compete in the UFC wearing that patch and representing your school. Try an iron on transfer. You can actually make them on your computer. Get Iron on transfers at a sewing or craft store, print it out MIRROR IMAGE from your computer, iron on a piece of cloth to sew onto your gi or directly onto your gi. I would not use canvas. Simple piece of cotton blend cloth (cotton/polyester) will do nicely.
- Q:We are making a supermilage car with a fiberglass shell and we have access to styrofoam to make our plug. I would like to use polyester resin because it is much cheaper than epoxy, but polyester melts styrofoam. Would we be able to coat the styrofoam with plaster of paris or something else to keep the resin from melting the styrofoam?Also, to anyone who knows anything about fiberglass, how much resin are we going to need? (The body is roughly going to be about 6 feet long, 2 feet tall, and 2 feet wide) I am guessing it will be about a gallon.
- Quite a task youve chosen for yourself. Although the plaster will prevent the styrofoam from melting. The plaster is very fracture critical. In otherwords.dont bump it or it will dislodge the plaster and you have to rely upon the plaster shell to remain solid during the application. After applying the first coat of matting and resin. I would fill and shape with fibreglass filler as found at your bodyshop supply house. Just remember to keep the layer of plaster at its thinnest possible Mil. Its just a sealer. Hope this helps.

- You can not directly join the two as PVC uses a liquid welding type of gluing solution (actulally the PVC glue causes th material to melt and fuse together. Copper pipe is sodered together with heat. However you can put a facet (you probably allready have one) on the copper pipe and then put together a PVC section which simply screws onto the Copper fitting. Then use PVC for the rest of your plumbing solution. Go to you local home DIY store and they can help you Get er Done! Hope this helps! Peace.
