Q: PUMP RUNS BUT DONT PUMP WATER: I just had this problem in my boat.. It was my filter clogged up.

Is it a turn around?: Only trip is not to the frequency converter settings or phase sequence change, if not moved the settings and wiring, most of the reason is the original reversal, you also know that inverter turnover also has water.Check analog positive and negative polarity, inverter settings, and if there is no problem, change the phase sequence.

Q: It is a 110 shallow well pump for my water source to the house.: On mine when it starts that I usually have a small leak somewhere..when it loses the necessary pressure from drainage..then it kicks back on to build the water back up..

Q: Was able to remove all bolts except the one in the rear of engine one of the bigger bolts the pulley from the serpentine belt blocks itdoes the pulley need to be removed and if yes then how: yes you,ll probably have to remove the pulley from it to get to all of them,i usually remove the pulley first anyway ,this makes it a lot easier to do ,but you should be able to get to the bolt after the pulley is off,good luck i hope this help,s.

Q: i have little leak from water pump need to replace it in my mazda 6 2006 v6 3.0l. i have little over 120.000 miles on it. Any body know how much it may cost me?: I don't know why, but the water pump costs between $125 and $160. That seems a little high. It probably retails for $186. Under normal conditions, you just get things out of the way, unbolt the old pump, clean it up and put the new one in. The problem is the other stuff that gets in the way. I'm just estimating the job will take 5-8 hours. Just multiply times the labor rate in your area. Don't forget the anti-freeze when you're done.

Q: noise when i acclerate you cant hear it as much because of engine noise but when its at idle the squealing noise is somewhat loud does anyone know what it could be ? its not the water pump because i bought it new and im not overheating and the belts arent too tight either i have already checked them: first off is the noise a squeal or a whine there is a difference. If it is a squeal then it could easily be one of the belts either the alternator or the power steering. Check your belt tension and make sure the belts are tight enough not to slip around the pulleys when they are under a load. If you have power steering start the engine and turn the steering wheel all the way to the stop either direction and apply pressure ot the steering wheel. This will load the power steering pump and help you ot determine if its the power steering belt or the alt. belt. The belts need to be tight bt not guitar string tight. If it is a whining sound instead of a squealing sound then I would remove the belt that drives the water pump and turn the pump by hand and pay close attention ot how it feels while you turn it. It should be extremely smooth. If you feel anything like a slight bumping or something of that nature it is possible even tho its a new water pump the impeller may be to far back and may be striking something inside the housing slightly. Even new parts can be defective.

Q: How do you remove the water pump from bmw m42 engine?: Remove fan from pulley (usually using a big special open end wrench) turning clockwise with you in front of the car/engine. Loosen bolts holding pulley to water pump (but do not remove bolts and pulley yet). Adjust fan belt tensioner to remove alternator belt (there is a plastic cover in the middle of the tensioner pulley under which is a bolt usually torx 50 with which you can adjust the pulley pulling clockwise/to the right). Proceed to remove bolts and pulley from water pump. Remove bolts from water pump. Put 2 screws into the empty/previously unused holes in the sides of the water pump to pull it out. Remove and replace water pump. Refill with coolant. Bleed cooling system to remove air from the system.

Q: Had house power washed today and need my water to work again!: what i would do is let it dry over nite if you cant wait stantd on rubber wear rubber gloves leather on top of thoes gloves. dont touch anything else use somthing rubber to try to reset the breaker. if it pops again you will be forced to let it dry. then try again. if it still pops you will need to replace the breaker. don't take electricity lightly it kills many people a year.

Q: overheating.it has a new thermostat,radiator is clean.temp stays normal during idle,rises when i start to drive.ac is off when this happens.its a 4.7 dodge durango.can water pump simplyquot;go badquot;without ever leaking?: if it,s circulating then the water pump is doing its job. does the fan kick on? maybe 1 of the hoses is closing up when your driving. usually when the bearing goes bad in the pump it takes the seal out too and starts to leak.
