Q:Will leather carpets smell bad when they're put out for a long time?
As long as you don't touch the water is OK, accidentally hit the water must take out dry, avoid exposure!
Q:how much does it cost to get a rug reweaved or tied....?? who or where can I go to get it fixed?
It is REALLY expensive to have done. I would make sure the value of the rug will warrant such an expense.
Q:How to get burn marks out of carpet?
Repairing Burned or Melted Carpet Fibers Unfortuately you won't be in a position of hire the comparable innovations used for cleansing carpet stains as you may to repair burns interior the carpet. in actuality, possible tremendously plenty evaluate a burn permanant harm. in the past you toss your carpet in a dumpster hower, you may desire to attempt considered one of those techniques to eliminate carpet stains brought about via burns. the 1st ingredient you could attempt is snipping the very genuine fibers of the carpet. If the burn is basically too far down interior the fibers, you could decrease out the blistered spot with an exacto knife and decrease out yet another piece precisely the comparable length and shape from a carpet remnant or hidden component of the carpet. Paint a splash glue on the aspects of the piece of carpet and glue into place. with a bit of luck no person will ever word.
Q:What is the material of pp in carpet?
Polypropylene or polypropylene fabric
Q:area rugs? not sure what size i need!?
A 2X3 rug is only 24 X 36... too small for a living room. Your living room would probably be better suited to a 5X8 (60 X 96) or similar. When choosing a rug, ask the salesperson about wash-ability as some fibres are more prone to staining even when spills are promptly cleaned with rug cleaner. Solid colours also tend to show dirt quicker, so look for a rug with flecks of red in two slightly different shades or even a bit of a texture so that certain unavoidable dirt (lint, pet hair, etc) might be concealed a bit. Good luck and enjoy your new home!
Q:Rental carpet replacement CA?
I would be fighting this issue, especially since they charged you for carpet cleaning.
Q:Dark Red nail polish on carpet?
I know it's kinda late for this, but I would buy some to keep on hand for the next time. I saw this stuff on one of the home shopping shows. It was shown by a man named PROFESSOR AMOS. Thats the name of his products. The one you need is the one with banana oil. You won't believe the stuff! It works on lots of stains, not just nail polish. I spilled burgundy polish in my husbands new truck. I got out what I could with remover, then used Professor Amos' product, and it all came out. I've used several of his products, and they all do just what he says.
Q:How and where to choose area rug for living room.?
Most rugs are pretty low maintenence - just vaccuum.
Q:Cleaning carpet stains?
Use any oxygen-cleaner based carpet cleaner, but don't follow the instructions. Instead spritz the stain until the spot is saturated and leave it alone. Repeat this over 2 or 3 days. I've never known it to fail, even with dark stains.
Q:How do I clean my rug/carpet?
If your have the extractor you can still clean fairly good. I used to clean proffesionaly with a bonnet cleaner and extracter. If you don't have a bonnet cleaner then just spot treat the areas which are soiled the most. You can also take some laundry detergent and add a little to bucket of water. Add just enough till water feels slippery. Then go around and scrubb soiled areas with a hand brush, that are the worst. This is called spot treating. Then suck up these areas with the extractor. I think the streaky look is becaues of the way you pull the wand across the rug. You do however want the fibers to be lifted and not flat. This makes for a faster drying time. So pull back the wand the opposite way that the fibers lay causing them to stand up and look fluffy. If you go the other way it will cause it to look flat. Oh, and don't add boiling water to machine there are plastic parts and seals in machine which will be damaged by hot water. You can use hot water but not boiling...
