Q: Anyone have any experience with a Dyson?: I use a dyson on my floors and it works wonderful, though i don't use the power head on the hard wood floors and the rotation on the brush can cause damage but the normal head that comes with it is fantastic. Some vaccums have ranges where they are suited for pet hairs I am not sure about dyson as I don't have pets in the house, but with 2 girls in the hosue with long long hair it helps to have a good vaccum and my choice is dyson!

Q: I have four cats and most of my house is carpeted. I've had horrible luck with vacuum cleaners. Should I break down and get a high end vacuum cleaner? (No, vacuum cleaner salesmen, Please.): A good friend of mine just did a fair bit of research on this. From what he found out, the Dyson's are WAY overpriced and no better than any other good quality vacuum. Never get a canister vacuum, the hair will get caught and affect the performance of the vacuum. As well, the vacuums where you pull the little R2-D2 unit behind you never have enough power. Get an upright, bag vacuum. Basically, do some looking around but the biggest thing is, don't just buy a name brand. Ask around.

Q: Or did they convert to Vacuum Cleaners?: They use Swiffers they can fold that mop part up or down to increase or decrease the drag better speed control and they can shoot their witches brew right out of that dispenser.

Q: i was cleaning my pc with with a vacuum ( wich im already doing for years)and before i know my pc would't startup when i pressed the power button i connected my power SW (switch) and reset SW and speakers to my motherboardnow my pc will start but after i get my first ASUS screen it just shuts down???? everytime again.....this is what i already tried to do : unplug 1 RAM card see if my cpu fan was properely attached to motherboard changing the POWER SW and the RESET SW from positions and it still doesn't want to work ???Please help me i would appreciate that.greets Jason Dewaide: remove and refit all memory remove and refit graphics card remove and refit heatsink/fan

Q: I've seen the robot vacuum cleaners before (iRobot Roomba) and they seem really cool. But in reading about them, it seems like the mostly work on bare floor or super short carpet. Are there any models that work with normal medium length carpet?: Roomba Carpet

Q: When I bought a new house recently, the carpet looked awesome. There was a very neat pattern vacuum pattern. I can't do it that way though no matter how much I try. Any professional cleaners out there that can offer some advice??: You need to vacuum so the grain of the carpet is pulled up. You need to experiment, tho it sounds ike you did. You need the find the direction of the weave. And you need to hold the brushes on the vacuum so they brush the pile. And enough suction. Pull the vacuum slowly so the brushes work the pile.

Q: can commercial vacuum cleaners be used a home ?I dont know if their high speed and powerful motors can damage the carpet at my home.I am thinking of buying oreck but dont know if I buy thier commercial vacuum cleanerthey can damage my carpet.Let me know if you have any experience with those.: If I had one that is what I'd be using.It won't suck the threads right out of the carpet and that is what you are thinking right? They are just made to take the abuse that a regular home vacuum can't. You know people at work don't take care of things like they do at home. I think your Lucky!

Q: ok i was going to vacuum both the carpet and hardwood but i don't know how to change the sliding thing on the bottom of the vacuum and where to put it should i just put it on hard? making sure because i dont want to ruin the hardwood Thanks!!!!!: The adjustment settings on vacuum cleaners are there so you won't ruin the roller brush on the vacuum....not the floor. What make/model of vacuum cleaner do you have? My vacuum cleaner (a Eureka Boss SmartVac) has different height levels and then 2 adjustments for using hard floors.

Most of the cheap vacuums require the hose to be holstered because suction is through the hose, not other ducting. Dyson is an example of a vacuum that can be used with or without the hose in place.

They are made big for industrial dust/debris collection in factories, and vacuum material collection trucks.
