Q: The corners on my rugs are starting to curl up because they are getting old.. and loved! They go perfectly with the rest of my decor so I don't what to have to go find new ones.
You can go for various rug pads available online.Another option would be use Two sided tape and paste in on floor and the next step is stick a Velcro on the tape and the other part of the Velcro on bottom edge of the rug. This will surely help your old rug from curling up from edges.
Q: Something that really ties the room together.
I okorder You can search by size, shape and color and they have thousands of designs. Free shipping, too.
Q: I am Brazilian.Tell me where you are from, please. Please, do NOT use electronic translators, such as Google translator. How to say in German? You don't need to translate the explanation, but I need you to put the DEFINIT ARTICLE and the PLURAL FORM, please.1. Rug (on the floor)2. Carpet3. Curtain4. Classroom5. Pen (= ballpoint pen)6. highlighter pen (= special pen in bright colors)7. Mechanical Pencil (= propelling pencil) (a pencil with a lead inside that can be moved down by pushing the top of the pencil.8. Ruler9. Eraser (for white board, green board, black board)10. Eraser (used for removing pencil markers on papers) 11. Marker (= marker pen, used to write on white boards)
8 is Lineal. Ruler means two things: a person (who rules) = der Herscher and a thing with which you draw lines = das Lineal
Q: It's like a Persian rug (much less expensive--a rustic rug for our lodge-style home that's perfect as a wallhanging, but we want to hang the rug like a tapestry using velcro against a velcro-stapled board (as they do in museums). The problem is that the weaving is so virtually impenetrable that I'm breaking needles, fraying thread, creating callouses, dying a slow death :-) This will take me next to forever. There must be a better way than doing this by hand. Or, am I simply using the wrong equipment? I'm using curved upholstery needles, thimbles, upholstery thread (the thread often frays or comes out of its knot!), pliers (for the intense pushing of the needles through the shield-like rug backing. Please help!I just need to sew a two-inch strip that's about 6 ft. in length, but I've spent half a day sewing about 3 inches!
Instead of sewing on the Velcro, use a stapler, with the flat side of the staple on the back of the rug. The bent prongs will be hidden in the nap of the weave on the front side. If you have to sew it, use a very thick upholstry needle, or one for counted cross stitch. The needle is very heavy and has a broad eye. Use a small piece of rubbery plastic to grip the needle as it goes through the Velcro and rug. Use quilting thread or buttonhole twist, doubled and run through a piece of candle or beeswax.
Q: has any one had them out to clean your carpet and if so is it worth the money? give me some stories good or bad about them
Used them many times and they are very reasonably priced. If you aren't moving your furniture (which we didn't) make sure they put everything up on blocks so as not to stain the carpets until they dry. It's a normal procedure for them but they can mess up and your wood or fabric that touches the wet carpet will stain it. When they are done your carpets should only be damp and not wet to the touch. If they are wet don't let them leave until the carpets are only damp. Stanley Steemer is a franchise operation so not all franchises are great. I use them for a whole house cleaning but use my own steam cleaner much more often. I have saved a lot of money by owning my own steam cleaning machine which is a Bissell. I can keep up on carpet cleaning routinely as opposed to waiting until the carpets are in dire need. I would recommend after you use Stanley to buy your own cleaner.
Q: can it be done? id probably just staple it down over the wooden floor. not to familiar with flooring so thats why im askin. thank you

Q: What kind of good pressing strip carpet and marble interface
If you install the bar, it is generally metal, not aluminum alloy is copper, but obviously this approach is not good. The carpet is usually based on the thickness of the marble and the carpeting in the location of the ground height difference, for example, if the thickness of the carpet carpet is 15mm, the location of the ground, the marble surface height difference, generally about 10mm, looks carpet is taller than marble, but when the foot feeling is basically "flat" - the beauty of this approach does not require the use of layering. Of course, some carpets don't have that long hair, so it's up to them to determine the difference between them.
Q: My carpet in my living room has become stiff. I regularly shampoo it and it is rinsed thoroughly. Any suggestions as to how to make it soft again?
Your carpet is loaded with dried soap. As you may know, these toy home style carpet cleaners were invented by a practical joker and carnival magnate named P.T. Barnum, who once said, there is a new sucker born every second.
Q: I used to have a cat, but haven't since I bought a house and completely remodeled it. Now the house is done, and I'd like to get a cat again. I don't like the idea of de-clawing - I think it's cruel. But, I now have expensive furniture in the house and also 2 very expensive antique persian rugs. How is a clawed cat trained not to scratch/claw these things. I've always had problems in the past with this.
There are covers that you can buy to place over the cats nails, if you want to be bothered with it. One of my cats came declawed from the pound, the other has claws. I take the clawed one every week and pop her claws out and trim them down with clippers, but she is a very mellow and cooperative cat. Other than that, it's very, very hard to train kitties. Try getting a scratching post that smells like catnip so the cat will be encouraged to use that instead of your things. I attached a link to the claw covers.
Q: I own a cell phone store and my carpets are a mess. I'm trying to save money because stanley steemer wants around $200. I thought about renting the rug doctor for $20 from the local grocery store. Would it work well for commerical grade thin grey carpet that has some dirt, road salt, and grease in it from the several customers that walk on it every day?
Do not use bleach or laundry products on your carpet. Any soap residue left in the carpet fibers will become a sticky dirt.soil magnet. No pro any where in the world would ever consider using a bleach on a carpet. There are numerous company's that make and distribute products just for the purpose of cleaning residential or commercial carpet. Rug Doctor machines have about one tenth the vacuum power found in a typical truck mount machine, this is important when it comes to extraction. The truck mount will also provide super hot softened and citric acid treated water to the carpet. Something you can not do with a do it your self machine. Rug Doctor soap also is treated with a optical brightener, an additive not used by a professional cleaner. It is there to fool you into thinking the carpet is cleaner than it actually is. Clean your carpets on a regular basis, it probably should be done 2 or 3 times a year. Deduct the costs as a business expense.
