Q:I would like to use explosives of some sort. I've had suggestions of drilling some pipe bombs in around the base. Any suggestions?
You need to understand both the explosive and the structure involved. The fact that you talk about pipe bombs' demonstrates that you haven't a clue about how demolition explosives are supposed to work. Play around with setting them off remotely in a hole if you must, but don't try to work with them in the real world.
Q:Currently I use 3 sets of plastic bird bowels that clip on to the side of their cage for the food and water for my 4 parakeets. 3 seems to work out great, as i do not want them to start getting territorial over food and begin to fight. The bowls fill with seed husks very soon and the budgies are a little too lazy to dig too far for fresh seed, and it seems that they use their water bowls for defecating in.Lately I've had to leave town for a few days at a time and wanted to upgrade to 'silos' or the gravity fed seed and waterers, so that i wouldn't worry about the keets getting hungry or running out of clean water. If i have 4 parakeets, how many sets of feeders should I get so that they will all get a chance to eat evenly? Is there some kind of crude equation for the number of feeders to the number of birds?(They are two pairs of that helps @ all)
In an emergency recently when my father was hospitalised over a few days and then he passed away...........and 300 miles away...... I had to leave suddenly with no time to make arrangements for the birds and was away for four days. I have 400 show budgies. The aviaries were easy as they are huge and I was able to put a great deal of food and water in there. I had birds in breeding cages that I generally change their seed and water daily. I put large jar feeders ( silo style ) in the cages...........three sets and three sets of water drinkers. The birds did fine with that arrangement. There shouldnt be poop going in birds water......thats usually down to your perch arrangement or choice of drinker. So be very sure it cant get fouled in any way as that will kill them. If you can start now getting them used to new feeder and drinkers do so, as some budgies dont get it and go up to the seed dispensers and try and eat the seed through the sides. Some like the seed dispensers and work it out and others dont, so you may need to have both kinds. For every budgie you have .....have one food an water source for every day you are away. That means if you have 4 birds ............4 seed dispensers and four drinkers for every day you are away.........4 times 3 days for instance is 12 seed dispensers and 12 drinkers. That covers all bases food and water wise...............the only other thing is any accidents they can have while you are gone, like getting caught up on anything. You may have to remove any toys they can get stuck on. Think of the stupidest things a budgie can do and make it safer.
Q:it is a scene with buildings as on a farm, with an old car, grain silos... numerous music icon references throughout. eg. elvis as a grain silo.
I wondered if you're thinking of Ed Hopper?
Q:Is there usually anything buried underneath a farm silo?
rats and a host of all boogeymen that hang out on farms
Q:Also if you were able to nuke it would it detonate the other nuclear weapon? and if so what would be the result?
Silos are protected against shock and radiation, but very little can withstand a direct hit. The launch doors are the big weakness. The survivability of a silo would depend on how close of a detonation and how big it was. Weapon(s) in the silo would not detonate in a sympathetic nuclear explosion. Nuclear weapons are much more sophisticated machines than conventional devices. The fuel in the unlaunched missile would detonate, the conventional explosives around the nuclear core would detonate and the nuclear material in the missile would add to the fallout. The weapon(s) in the silo would not achieve critical mass.
Q:The silo is in the shape of a right circular cylinder 8 ft. in radius and 7 ft tall, and is topped with a right circular cone 3 ft, tall.a) Find the volume of the silo.b) If the silo is filled full with grain which is worth $150.00 for every 7 cubic feet, how much is the grain in the silo worth?
the quantity is comparable to: one million/2 * 4PIr^3/3 + h*PIr^2 (one million/2 the quantity of a sphere of radius r plus the cylindrical quantity) the place h is the peak of the cylinder, not the silo. one million/2 * 4*7^3PI/3 + h*7^2PI = 5000 Multiply the two factors by skill of three and multiply words out giving: 686PI + 147hPI = 15000 or 147PIh = 15000 - 686PI h = (15000 - 686PI)/147PI h = 27.813934 ft. you may desire to function yet another 7 ft for the single million/2 sphere on suitable.
Q:A cyndrical silo is 96 feet high and has a base with radius 301 feet. Esimate the number of cubic feet of grain the silo can hold.
The Cylinder Volume Formula is pi * radius2 * height Then Pi = 3.14159 Radius = 301 feet and Height = 96 Feet then The Silo can Hold 3.14159*301^2*96 feet^3 = 27324594,77 feet^3 or = 27324594,77 CUBIC FEET
Q:My budgies currently drink from a little cup that came with the cage. I want to switch them to a tube waterer for many reasons:?less likely to get contaminated by droppings, etc.?can be put anywhere in cage?I may get a bigger cage, and use my current cage as a breeding cage, and if I can get them to use a tube waterer I won't have to cut a hole in the cage bars, but I can use the door where the water dish once was (if you want to say anything about breeding that dosent have anything to do with waterers, please do so elsewhere. I have studied for months, and will not actually breed until summer break so u have time to care for the babies)Anyway, how do I get my birds to drink from the tube waterers? How long should it take and should i get more than one? (I have three birds)

Q:Why not just spider web. Are there so many spider webs in the corn cob pile in the silo/barn? That it got this name?
Corner Of Barn webs. C.O.B webs. cobwebs
Q:i need info about this please!!
The built storage bins ,similar to our silos, they lost so much food to rats that they domesticated cats, which they later revered as Gods.
