wow this is the first math question i can actually answer on yahoo asnwers haha lol geometry right? i just took a final on it silo's are shaped as a right circular cylinder Surface area formula is 2(pie)(radius)square + 2(pie)(radius)(height) the farmers silo is 3.5 = radius and the height is 25 if you plug the radius and the height in the formula your answer should come out to be ---- 199.5 (pie) orr 626.74

A silo (base not included) is to be constructed in the form of a cylinder with a hemisphere on top. the cost of the construction per square unit of surface area is twice as great for the hemisphere as it is for the cylindrical sidewall. determine the dimensions to be used if the volume is fixed and the cost of the construction is to be kept at a minimum. neglect the thickness of the silo and the waste in construction. i really have no clue how to solve this. im also not sure what it means by hemisphere on top.. any help would be greatly appreciated. also must prove with first or second derivative test.

A hemisphere is half a sphere, and to do this question you must figure out an equation for a graph related to whatever information they provide. Then, minimum cost on the graph would be a turning point. Thus, dy/dx = 0. To find the nature of the point, for it to be a minimum point, d2y/dx2 must be greater than 0. Well, if protection isn't really the issue at hand, I would go with the Silo. They're extremely comfortable, but not very protective because the foam isn't very dense and there are no plastic inserts or anything. If you're a midfielder, these are definitely the gloves for you because as opposed to attack of defense, where the hand is a main target, these are definitely not super protective, but they're super comfy. I want to switch them to a tube waterer for many reasons:?less likely to get contaminated by droppings, etc.?can be put anywhere in cage?I may get a bigger cage, and use my current cage as a breeding cage, and if I can get them to use a tube waterer I won't have to cut a hole in the cage bars, but I can use the door where the water dish once was (if you want to say anything about breeding that dosent have anything to do with waterers, please do so elsewhere. I have studied for months, and will not actually breed until summer break so u have time to care for the babies)Anyway, how do I get my birds to drink from the tube waterers? How long should it take and should i get more than one? (I have three birds)

I believe domain name lengths are restricted to about 255 characters total. So your example would be possible to create. Names like that are frequently used for vhosts in the shell community. I wonder if there still is much of a shell/vhost community hehe.

Hmmm. you forgot to mention the 3-card Monte trucks. The trucks cannot launch missiles but they move them from silo to silo so that it is harder to know which silos to hit with a preemptive strike. Anyway we have only about 1/4 as many as we had at the peak period. At that point we could have blasted the land masses of the earth, all of them, to radioactive green glass 6 times over. Now we can do it only 1.5 times. The under ocean launch sites are on submarines, and the only sites near the borders are ABM sites, though the ABMs have never been proven to work.
