Product description:

The Ceramic Fiber Needle-punching Blanket is made through intensive needle-punching processing. The product does not contain any bond or other compositions, and also no slag inclusion content. The intensive needle-punching technics improved the fiber intertexture and the resistance performance against delamination as well as the tensile strength. It have a good high temperature shrinkage after the heat treatment of 750-950 during the producing. Beside the charicteriatics in common,it have better sound insulation performance and mechanism strength,is easy to machining and install.

Product Features:

Low thermal conductivity ,heat storage and heat capacity

  Excellent heat insulation

  Excellent chemical stability

  Shock and chemical attack resistant

  Low thermal conductivity and shrinkage

Resilience under working condition, Low shrinkage under high temperature

Excellent sound insulation and resistance of folding

Product application:

 Industrial furnace,Heat treatment,High temperature pipe

Insulating materials of boiler, turbine and nuclear power

Insulating material for face and top of industrial furnaces and heating device

Excellent sound insulation for Construction Fire protection

High temperature filter material for nonferrous metal

Q:1.)The underside of all US space shuttle orbiters were covered in lightweight, ceramic insulating tilesThese tiles varied in size and shape, but were basically 15 cm squares spaced 1.5 mm apart (at room temperature)They were designed to withstand reentry temperatures of up to +1260 ℃What is the approximate coefficient of thermal expansion of these tiles?2.)A 64 liter gas tank is filled completely at 15 ℃How much gasoline overflows, if the tank heats up to 35 ℃ while the car is parked in direct sunlight?3.)A steel bridge is built in several segments, each 20 m longThe gap between segments is 4 cm at 18 ℃What is the maximum temperature that the bridge can manage before buckling?4.)How much taller is the Eiffel Tower on the hottest day of the summer (25 ℃) than the coldest day of the winter (2 ℃)? The tower is 324 m tall measured from the top of the flagpoleAssume the tower is built of structural steel.

Q:My mom told me that it's bad to air dry your hair because it causes breakageIs this true? She says she's older so she knows more and I should blow dry my hair.
Yes but you have got to have a good machine to do itIt will require a machine that is capable of low ampsor you will have to use heat sinks to keep from blowing it away.
Q:I want to get more fiber into my system! BUT what has a lot of fiber? i have NO idea! anything thats HEALTHY and GOOD that i can mix into my water? or maybe some snacks that are healthy and high in fiber? ANYTHING! thank you! :)

Q:and why? why are they made from stainless steel? why do they have an element etcthanks :)
I think either you are not using as much product at home, or you are not leaving in in long enough or-in the case of a leave-in product-maybe you are rinsing out some of it accidentallyIf it is a good product, you can actually leave a LOT of it in your hair and dry it, and it will come out really good and not greasy like I used to think.

Q:I live in Phoenix with a 10 year old York 4 ton unit I was told the coils are bad and the motor is leaking The A/C guy tried to sell me a new unit on the spot, but I declinedWanted to get a second opinion before I shell out the $$$My house is a 1650 sq ft single story4 ton seems a big excessive, but that's what I was told I needed 10 years agoAny advice on good/bad brands as well as desirable features A/C's run a long time down here in the desert and I would like to save a couple bucks on the electric meterI think the 18 seer is a bit much, but would like to get the best bang for my buckAny help/advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance!
Get multiple bids, at least five, and if the company doesn't want to give you a fully itemized estimate including the make and model number of the unit they're going to install run like hell the other wayIt's better to err on the side of lower tons because if your system is too powerful it will short-cycle, and not run long enough to dehumidify your houseI'm not a contractor but I did a substantial amount of research before I had my system installed, and 4 tons sounds about right considering the summertime temps you haveThe correct way to actually calculate the required system size is to take into account the weather, how well the house is insulated, daytime shade hours vssun hours, number and quality of windows, and orientation but you will probably never find a company that bothers to do these calculationsI have a 3.5 ton system on 1842 square feet but I'm in a region that runs about 10 degrees cooler in the summertimeOne outfit even tried to sell me a 6 ton systemAs far as the SEER rating, it depends on how long you are going to stay in your houseIn the upper SEER ratings you have to spend a lot of money to get a very small increase in the rating, so it takes a lot longer for the higher rating to pay for itself in utility bill savingsSometimes it's better to spend the money upgrading insulation and attic ventilation than it is to spend thousands more to get a higher SEER rating.
Q:I'm looking to find some decently priced sound insulation, for a music studio, that I can fill my exposed walls with in the basementThe wooden beams are about 1.5ft apart and are currently filled with Johns Manville Thermal and Sound Insulation.Any tips that won't break the bank?
Egg crates or cork tileHang Tyvek house wrap over the insulation, then bead board or OSB, then tack egg crates to that.
