- Q: I have sheetrock on the ceiling of one of my bedrooms. Above the bedroom is a bathroom. I would like to replace the sheetrock ceiling with tiles that are removable, that way I can easily perform maintenance as needed - e.g. if the tub starts leaking, etc. Are there such a thing as removable ceiling tiles? Or a way to use regular ceiling tiles and affix them in a removable manner? I know this can be done with drop ceilings, but I'd rather avoid the loss of headroom caused by installing a drop ceiling.

- Q: I want to know how I can install a suspended ceiling in my basement. There are some things in the way like I show in the video. The camera I was using cant record sound so please use my finger gestures as a guide. 1. - I saw them advertise and they look pretty cool. The grid is attached directly to rafters, and then you slide in the tiles. They might have them on their website on the weekly flyer.

- I wouldn't use ceiling tiles at all. Basically, you don't want anything that could crumble and fall in to food. Things to consider in food plant design 1) Nothing extra gets into the food. (falling, crumbling, chipping etc. this includes building materials, dust, animal droppings, etc.) 2) germs (all sorts) are not allowed to grow. Design the surfaces to be cleaned with air. Germs love water and no matter how much you try you won't be able to completely dry something immediately after it's wetted. Don't give the little nasties places to grow.
- Q: We have a t-bar ceiling (ceiling with removable acoustical tiles) in the kitchenette area. It's awful! It looks like were eating in an office! - We have the same problem in kitchen and also living room and are planning to replace them with new panels that look like a tin ceiling. Armstrong makes them. There are other decorative designs, too. You can see online at the Armstrong website. For the tin-look ceiling, they also make coordinating grid covers so it looks better.
