Q: this is for a school project - i can't find the answer anywhere else. please help me
Home vacuum cleaners? Try different brands. Oreck, for instance. Just google their name. In fact, I think they still make their vacuum cleaners in the US. Most other brands probably manufacture in China although their corporate headquarters could be in the US. To find other names, just google something like vacuum cleaners buy You'll get a list of companies. Then google the companies' names to find their headquarters. Or go down to KMart etc. and look for the origin of manufacture on the machines. Look for the word China.
Q: crazy. Although I empty my bags or canister frequently, my vacuums only seem to last a few months. I just got a Dirt Devil about 2 months ago and its suction is just horrible now. Can anyone recommend a vacuum for under $500 that will last? Thank you.
I okorder ). I highly reccommend it .
Q: Do they have a problem going from hardwood to carpeted floors. Do they pick up as well as a traditional vacuum? Of six answeres to my original question, three were positive, three negative. Please send me more details.
They will go from room to room if there is nothing in the path of it. They are great if you have open spaces no kids or animals. They are a great invention if as I said you dont have those things.
Q: I was just wondering why they are so afraid of hoovers/vacuum cleaners. My dogs are frightened of it.
transforming into up my dad might constantly vaccuum the canines. It became a canister form vaccuum. They have been German Sheps and had no actual subject with it. He wouls start up them as doggies and supply them a variety of of interest and treatsas long as they lay nevertheless. It became an wonderful thank you to handle the fur. My lab/ coonhound mixture is a splash apprehensive approximately it, yet tolerant. My ridgeback bites on the vaccuum if he's interior the abode and that i'm doing the flooring. we can't even attempt him, he's a undesirable candidate for it.
Q: I am wanting to buy one of those self-activated quot;robotvacuum cleaners. But I need one that will have good enough suction to vacuum up a LOT of dog hair. What is the best one?
Don't waste your money - you will be extremely unhappy with the results. Cleaning one of those robots does not just involve dumping the trash - you need to clean the brushes and rollers as well. The bad part about irobot is that pet hair will wrap tightly around the guides on the sides of the rollers. You can't just pick that off - it takes a tool to pry the stuff loose.
Q: I would like to use a Dyson floor tool with my central vacuum system. The system uses a hose with a 1 1/4diameter attachement port. Does anyone know what the inside diameter of a Dyson floor attachment tool is? Or if it will ft a standard vacuum hose?
Dyson Vacuum Tools
Q: Where can i find the vacuum cleaners listed in the consumer reports?
Most of the vacuums in consumer reports can be bought at your local stores or on the internet and the makers site. Be advised that you probably won't find the vacuums at the prices stated in consumer reports mag. I hunted all over for a hoover bagless vac that they rated good for under $200.00 (their price was about $160) the best I could do was $180.00 and it was a re conditioned vac plus I would have had to pay S H of $50.00. I don't know where they get their vacs for those prices but I wish they would include that in their reports.
Q: I am wondering if vacuum cleaners are tax free right now since I am moving out for college and need one
Depending upon where you live they would be. Some states are having a tax free week-end that ends today (Sunday) Some states like (New Hampshire) a vacuum cleaner is tax free all the time.
Q: I've been waiting for it.
LOL...............I think that could be very clever! I would laugh,,,,,,,,,,,,,and I would watch that commercial!
Q: I've seen a lot of advertisements for Sears Cannister Vacuums on sale or on closeout recently. Are these vacuums any good, on an absolute level, and also for the money they cost?
I have been using one for several years...I have a hoover, and a Kirby...........I will take the Sears Canister over either of the three...Better suction....I love mine....
