Q:should i try vacuum cleaners or fridges instead
hehe made me laugh. Well i suggest you see a computer specialist about that trojan and personally I'd go for fridges. They have the ability to store food :D
Q:I was conversing with a person in the vacuum industry and was informed that they were a bucket of s.h.i.t so don't be fooled by the marketing.
While I've only heard good things from people who have bought DYSONS- I believe that proper maintance is really key... I have an older vacuum a HOOVER-SAVVY which I LOVE.. I've had it for just over 5 yrs. and it works very well. In fact when it came out it was rated as good as, or better than a DYSON and it cost 1/2 as much... I also since the vacuum was a gift I purchased the extended warranty which has been a great purchase and still was cheaper than a DYSON.. The warranty covered pretty much everything except filters.... So, I would take my vacuum in- 2x a year for it's annual clean check ( I would call under warranty and tell them it wasn't working properly) and basically come home with a new vacuum... I believe that anything you buy and use regularly and I vacuum almost everyday needs upkeep and maintanace... So, to anyone that buys a DYSON and finds it to be sub-par I would send it back under warranty and keep sending it back until the problem is fixed or they send you a new one... I have a set of CALPHALON non-stick commercial grade pans... I got them for a wedding present ($200.00)... They have a 10 yr. warranty. I send them back every couple of years and get a BRAND-'NEW set. No questions asked... After the 10 yrs. are up I'll probably just buy some other pans... I don't like them... However, if I can get brand new pans every yr. then why not? Read and use the warranty... good luck
Q:My old vacuum cleaner is slowing breaking down. I've been looking around at new vacuum cleaners and everyone talks about how good the Dyson vacuum is. Is it worth it?
Oh gosh -- my sister has one, and I ask to borrow it whenever I can. I have a really good vacuum, too, but her Dyson has stuff I really like -- for example, the hose and attachments are right there and you don't have to stop vacuuming to hook anything up if you want to clean the baseboards or edges of furniture. Also, it really does move easily and can get under and around stuff than my vacuum can't. One idea, though, to save you some money -- my sister got hers almost brand new off of Craigslist for less than half of what the new one would be, and the warranty papers and all of that stuff was there just in case. She hasn't had any problems though.
Q:Toy vacuum cleaners, mops, pretend kitchens and stuff like that?? Isnt that kind of wrong? Seriously.
the market settles all accounts. If there demand for any other toys we would supply you. You want a six foot purple sock? Place your orders, I would be happy to design and sell it. I would cover you in peanut butter and sell you a rhinocerous if it were profitable. Little girls want to play mommy, they learn thier roles from society not the toy isle. It may even be innate, much as half the fems don't like the idea. Some feminists accept societal roles while still wanting some fairness and love.
Q:What are the important parameters of the vacuum cleaner?
Vacuum: an important indicator of suction size. The index is also related to power. The greater the general power, the higher the index should be
Q:Why would people buy Dyson cleaners when there are now 'copy cat' products that have also produced bagless vacuum cleaners? Is it because Dysons products are far far better still? Or does Dyson still have so many patents that they cannot copy him 100% and their products still differ?Or is it just brand loyalty e.g. you would still buy Coca Cola even if someone produced another Coke, with exactly the same recipeThanks (I am currently researching Engineers for Uni and so your answers all help)
I think Dyson is the only one with the pivoting action that allows you to turn it like a car.
Q:Her husband came home to find his wife sitting in the chair and two vacuum cleaners in front of her.what are you doing? he inquiredWell........ I'VE just done the vacuuming' she retorted proudlyhow do you figure? he askedWell, the guy at the shop told me .........'cuts your work in half'....................so i bought two:)
LOL! Thats really stupid of her lol. But theres a blonde joke for you
Q:Example: If I had a vacuum cleaner and I turned it on and got another vacuum cleaner and turned it on; both vacuum cleaners are the same. Will the noise stay the same or be louder?I can see it being louder, but I think it will stay the same because it is the same noise which wouldn't really contribute to the loudness of the noise.
Say you have Signal 1 S1(t) and signal 2 S2(t), both functions of time. Obviously Sum= s1(t) + s2(t), and sound is additive, so yes, it is possible for the sum to be louder (but it can also be no change, or depending on the signs of the signals, they could cancel out) But Put 20 vacuum cleaners in one room and it will be REALLY loud. (Another example, imagine a race with one car and a race with 30 cars)
Q:I know this may sound ridiculous, but whenever my parents run the vacuum cleaner, I get a really bad headache and I really want to get out of the house. I think it's because it's so loud, it blocks out every other sound and the sound is so annoying it's like nails on a chalkboard.Except that doesn't explain the panic attacks I get when I hear that sound 75% of the time. =/Any advice? Please?
So you have a phobia for vaccum cleaners. A phobia is defined as being scared something will happen in the future. (Something like that) So the only thing you can do or the best thing to do in my opinion is to face it. Its a treatment actually. What you do is stay there when they vacuum. And even when your anxiety raises to the top. Because the way panic attacks work is they go up, and they hit the ceiling, and have to lower. So if you stay there, and let your anxiety peak, then lower back to regular. The fear that something bad will happen in the future will disappear. Or weaken largely. Because your sitting there, and nothing is happening, and even though you know inside nothing will happen to you your mind still reacts that way. (Like some people are afraid of bunnies) So sit through the vacuuming and I am sure that you will be able to face it time after time after that :D
Q:A vacuum cleaner is supposed to do just that: clean! And that’s what my old vacuum wasn’t doing. And it was so heavy! . Is it really lighter than the one which are there in the market. Doesn’t it have a bag to dispose like in other conventional models?
Funny you should ask, because I have seen more Dysons being thrown out than any other vacuum cleaner, when the local dustmen collect. I have a 10 year old Electolux Mondo which still works fine. I have heard that Dysons have expensive accessories like filters that need changing regularly.
