Q:Which size should I get. Some say thin wheels are better and some say fatter wheels are. Whats the difference besides size.
if you skate street smaller thinner wheels are best. Vert (ramps, skateparks, etc.) you want thicker bigger wheels.
Q:Recently, I saw the Eibach Pro-Spacer Kit (Hub-Centric Wheel Spacers-Pair). Can someone tell me what it is for? thanks.
They are designed to make the wheels sit out farther from the axel, basically widening the stance of the wheels. It is the cheapo way to widen your car's wheels without getting new wheels or something. So for $30 you can widen where your wheels sit. They are of course, much more prone to failure and they put alot more stress on the car. I do not recommend them.
Q:Doors need to use a hammer to check the train wheel, foreign locomotives, such as Japan, also need such a check?
Steam locomotive inspection of Japan is also some, and even can say that China is also followed the Japanese school.
Q:how important is wheel and tires balancing
Yes you do need to balance new tires. If you just put them on unbalanced your car may develop a vibration while driving, especially at highway speeds (60 mph / 100 KPH) Also this vibration will, over time cause uneven or abnormal wear on the tires and shocks / springs. It is usually not very expensive, usually $5.00 or so per tire and you will not have an annoying vibration while driving.
Q:Looking to purchase some whels for my bike. Im looking for those nice flashy wheels. Some chrome wheels with style. I just have no clue what site or what brand their is for bike wheels. Any help?
Chrome is really heavy, especially when adding it to your wheels because when the added weight spins it really affects every aspect of the ride, from handling, stopping to cornering. but its your bike do what you want. Check out PM Wheels / RSD, RC Components or coastalmoto
Q:Forged Crane Wheel Which quality is more trustworthy?
Shanxi Yong Xin forging this factory on the line, I have also found them before, it is recommended for enterprises in China forging network.
Q:i have a corolla, the front tires are making screeching noises lately. is is it neccessary to do all wheel align. or just front wheel align .wud do?I dont know when you do all wheel alignment,or on what kinda vehical?
Screeching noises aren't usually a sign of wheels out of alignment. Screeching noises can be caused by the brakes or wheel bearings. With wheel alignment all 4 wheels are checked, but on some cars only the front suspension can be adjusted while on others, the front and rear suspensions can be adjusted. You would get them aligned when your manufacturer recommends it, generally around 10-12 thousand miles or you should have it checked when you notice any of the following: - Excessive or uneven tire wear. - Steering wheel pulls to the left or right. - Feeling of looseness or wandering. - Steering wheel vibration or shimmy. - Steering wheel is not centered when car is moving straight ahead
Q:I want an import drift car
No, they are all front wheel drive or all wheel drive. Not a good candidate for drifting. Maybe a Starion (rwd) but they don't look as nice. Any hot looking Mitsubishi would have to be frankensteined into a rwd drift machine (mucho dinero). Your best bet is an older rwd Toyota corolla, Mazda Rx7, Nissan 240sx, Toyota supra or even a Subaru impreza awd (just remove the front axles and put stub shafts into the hubs to allow rwd operation - a little more complicated than it seems-) if you are really desperate. But these cars must be built up to drift. You must invest money in lsd units and suspension components and engine tuning to be able to break loose the tires and maintain a constant burn, etc.
Q:What is wheeled interrogation?
Is to let the prisoners get rest, breathing time, but the interrogators are constantly changing, non-stop interrogation of prisoners, so that their physical and psychological to the final collapse, had to reveal the truth of a trial method.
Q:If a wheel is 4 times bigger than its original size, would the effort to rotate the (4x) larger wheel be 4 times greater than the effort to rotate the original sized wheel? i‘ve been trying to look for an answer for this question for a while and i got nothing.
The difficulty in rotating an object depends on its moment of inertia. The inertia of an object (its mass) is a measure of how difficult it is to move an object. The moment of inertia is a measure of how difficult it is to rotate an object. The other answerer is correct about it depending on a lot of things but given that it is a wheel, I think you can safely say you are trying to rotate the wheel around it's axle. I would use a hollow cylinder to approximate the moment of inertia of a wheel since most of the mass is near the rim. The formula for the moment of inertia is I mr^2 The moment of inertia of a wheel depends on the square of the radius and depends linearly with the mass. The mass also depends on the radius. Increasing the radius by 4 times will increase the mass by 16 times since the circumference of a circle depends on the square of the radius. Replacing m with 16m and r with 4 r in the equation gives 16m (4r)^2 64 m r^2 It will be 64 times more difficult to move a wheel that is 4 times bigger. If instead of a hollow cylinder you use a solid cylinder you still get the same answer.
