- I wouldn't recommend pounding on them at all. Take the old bearings out with a screwdriver, put it in one side and pry out the bearing. It should come out pretty easily. There might be spacers between the wheels if you have big wheels. To put the new ones in. push them in as far as you can with your hands, then put them on your trucks and tighten the nut down until they're in the wheel. You might want to loosen the nut a little after you get them in. If the bearings aren't in the wheel and you can't get the nut on, do one side at a time, put the bearning only on the trucks and push the wheel over it.

- Most newer cars have variable ratio power steering, were the ratio of turning the steering wheel vs. amount tires turn changes, the further you turn the steering wheel. At the center, the steering wheel turns the tires very little, for high speed stability. As the steering wheel turns further, the tires angle changes more, for easier moving around in a parking lot. So at the extremes of the range, you're moving the tires further, which does take a bit more effort.

- These wheels are way overpriced and are not worth 70$ abec 11 retro freerides are probably pretty good i almost got some metro motions are BUTTER and they leave thane lines and they are centerset so they wear evenly and if they start to cone you just flip them and they are good to go. Landyachtz zombie hawgs are a good wheel but the egg and are not smooth to cruise on. Another good wheel that i like is the abec 11 flashback 81a because they slide great and theyare only 30$ but they cone but that is why they are 30$.

- abec does not matter. you can buy abec 3's, oil them up, use speed cream, clean them regularly and re oil them and keep them out of dirt and they will turn into abec 7's. more commonly though people buy abec 7s, don't take care of them and they turn into abec 1's. abec does not equal speed. pay no attention to abec. wheels could be the problem. i skate alot of vert so i use big wheels like 60-65 mm. the bigger the wheel the faster they go and the longer they hold their speed. most people skate 49 mm to 57 mm. even 57mm is kinda big. change wheels before you change bearings unless your bearings are destroyed and you can tell.
