- when you get a laptop you pay for more compact hardware so it can be carried around pc more bang for the buck you get more in a pc because the size is not really the main focus performances is pc is better for gaming video editing everything in general except mobility but if you build it yourself then you can make a ITX build which can be moved with ease but you still need a monitor and somewhere for to plug it in so laptops are better if you are going to want to take it everywhere but if it is staying at home then go for a desktop laptops can be used for gaming but not so well

- Depends on how your wifi is set up. However, you should be able to go to the windows wireless utility (it should pop up in the lower right corner of the taskbar automatically). If it's not there go to Control panelwireless. A menu will appear showing available wireless networks. Select yours, enter in your password, and wait for the computer to connect. You should be good to go at this point.

- it all depends, laptops are good if you plan to go places and need your computer to go with, while desktops offer more performance and better reliability for a cheaper price. they are also more customizable, but all this comes at the cost of portability. personally i would get a laptop but i go places. i would get a desktop for home and a netbook for on the go. it is all up to you though. research your companies wisely. i have a toshiba laptop barely under a year and my hard drive is on it's last legs but then again that is an easy fix and overall my computer has had solid reliability. hard drives nowadays are cheap and unreliable so always back up your important files. if you were to get a laptop i would get an asus, msi, toshiba, or acer, and stay away from hp, sony, and dell, but if you are to get a desktop i think any one will do. best to build your own though.

- Any laptop worth $1500 can play WoW, but if you really want a gaming laptop go with alien ware laptops, these laptops only have one purpose, and that's to play games.
