- If you are good with electronics, you could make good use of the laptop screen if you can find some way of connecting it to an output like a DVI on a computer. Take the screen out completely so you just have the thin LCD part of the screen and any connecting wires. Buy an over head projector, you know the ones that emit light to a reflector above it and expands a still image on a wall. Well, put the LCD on there and wire it up to some sort of out put (all laptops are different so the wiring may be different). Turn it on and you will have your own home made projector, it will even project in HD if the LCD is HD. Good Luck!

Gaming laptops are much more power consuming, weigh much more, usually have larger screens, and also produces more heat which is better for people who keep their laptops at home or occasionally bring their laptops out. It is solely based on your usage of laptops but if you do get a gaming laptop you will be able to run much more demanding games and much higher hardware speeds, also gaming laptops usually have a large HDD.
