Q:Cover the surface of metal plate with protective film.
The film itself may be coated with a layer of glue. Thus it's no need to use other adhesive tapes. If you use double-sided adhesive tape, I recommmend this kind. This kind of tape won't fall off even if it ages owing to damp and high temperature. If the film feels not adhesive, it doesn't mean it's not coated with glue because generally, the adhesion of protective film is very low that you can hardly feel it.
Q:Why can't the protective film on aluminium-plastic panel be removed after a year of storage?
There may be many reasons. One of them may be that the aluminium-plastic plate was stored for too long. And you dind't pay attention to keep it. Accoding to you, it's been stored for two summers. The glue coating of the film will be semi-melting and the adhesion of the surface of the aluminium-plastic plate will be stronger which may make it difficult the remove the film if the film is stored for too long. If the film is not very large, you can slowly tear it off by hands with patience. Remember to do it slow. Try to make the angel between the direction you are pulling the film and the plate an angel of about 90°. You can also scratch the film using sharp knife and try to make the scratches parallel to each other and make the spacing between two scratches no more than 10 cm. Be careful not to damage the plate. You can try on useless plate at first. If you can't control your strength, you'd better not use this method. In addition, you can try to heat the film with electric iron (Making sure that the temperature is not too high. It's all up to you.) and then slowly tear it off. And it will be better if you put a piece of cloth or paper on the plate when you do that. Of course, using electric hair drier is more convenient. And there may be glue remains on the plate after you tear off the film, you can wipe it off with kerosene or alcohol.
Q:What is the explosion-proof tempered glass protective film?
Explosion-proof glass film is used to prevent the broken glass from hurting people.
Q:How to remove the protective film on the door cover and window cover in a quick way?
You can try to heat the film with electric hair drier and then tear it off.
Q:What are the differences between PE protective film and PE release film?
PE protective film is used for the primary protection of electronic products when they leave the factory while PE release film is used as disposable consumable to protect the raw materials when wastes is discharged during processing.
Q:What to do when the keyboard protective film is not adhesive any more?
Clean with toothpaste at first. It's clean this way. And it won't leave a stain. Then when it's dried, use the cleaning fluid attached with the laptop and spray it on the unadhesive side. And then wipe it up with clean cloth and dry it off. That's all.
Q:PVC protective film reacted with the plastic on which it's coated. Why did that happen?
The quality of your PVC film is not good, I suppose. I had the same problem before. The PVC film I bought was cheap but the glue was not good. I think high-quality film won't have such problem.
Q:What material is used for the adhesive film of the protective film on the aluminum plate?
The protective film on the aluminium plate is made of PE thin film. Specifically, the film is co-extruded by three layers of thin film. The film can be sticked to the aluminium plate to protect the surface of the aluminium plate from unexpected scratches and damage after it's covered with glue. If you want to learn more about PE protective film, you can go to the PP forum. There are many insiders who are specialized in this field.
Q:What materials is rotective film made from?
PP material: material used in plastic bags that we often use. The chemical name of PP is polypropylene. PVC material: PVC material is more thick but its light transmittance is not good. PET material: the chemical name of the film made from this kind of material is polyester thin film. AR material: AR is a kind of synthetic material, generally composed of three layers--the silica gel as the adsorptive layer, PET as the middle layer and outer layer as the special processed layer. Special processings usually can be divided into two kinds-- AG processing and HC processing. AG processing is anti-glare processing, adopted when making matte protective film. HC processing is hard coating processing, used on protective film of high light transmittance.
Q:The protective film on the surface of raw materials.
Generally speaking, the film is PE (polyethylene) film with single layer structure. It's transparent. Or it is two-layered with composite structure. One of the two layers is BOPP printing film. The other is PET film coated with aluminum. The two kinds of film mentioned above needs to be covered with a layer of PSA before it's used on profiles. If it's difficult to peel down from the profiles, it means the quality of the PSA is not good enough.
