Being hit in the face by a bee (or even continual heavy rain on your lips) at only 30mph can sting, there are all kinds of products that will stop misting, and it is possible with most helmets to leave the visor ajar.
What are the national standards for pipe connections (R (PT)) with tapered tubes at both ends? Thank you
Because of this transition joints, because of doing too much, but do not know what the standard, and many times is an industry or business standards it? Normally, this is called a pair of silk. Relatively simple production, large dosage.

Has anybody any problems with their Iridium shields flaking? It seems that the mirrored finish and color are starting to flake off around the bottom edge and the tab you use to flip the shield up with. Ive only had the shield for a few months and have only been really caught in the rain once. I use the Motosport Cleaner and Polish to clean it. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thanks
The glue will only work for the intended piping system. A shark bite fitting will transition from PEX to CPVC to copper. It is a brass fitting, that pushes on to the end of any of these pipes, and once on, will hold leak free. If you need to remove the fitting, there is a small tool, that when used, will remove the fitting in order to access the system, or to reconnect a different type of pipe. There are now more companies bringing their version of these fittings, that can't be removed. Good luck!
Any Storage systems or anything?
A lot of us plumbers (including me) put just a little on the threads to make disassemble easier in the future. Some have different ideas about putting dope on the farrells or face of the fitting, but most of us do put a little on the threads. . .

I'm about to replace the six smoke detectors (Kidde 1275s) in my house. The past two summers they've randomly gone off (no fire). I've read that this model, as well as several other Kidde models, have problems with nuisance alarms, which is something my family would like to avoid all-together.What are some good, reliable smoke alarm options? They must be able to interconnect with others.
The key is that the joint are not water tight. So a loose fit on one or two joints would make it possible. 4 elbows 5 nipples ( 3 - 6inch, 1 - 3 or 2 1/2 inch and 1- 2 inch) 1 coupling( 1 inch long One leg of the frame is made up of two shorter nipples. A coupling is used to joint these together. Normally a union would be used to make a water tight fit but a sloppy loose connection with a coupling can be done as only a thread or two will be engaged on one connection. (A connection none the less) The key here is that the coupling it over threaded on to one nipple end. The other nipple is placed into the other end of the coupling. This nipple has also been over tightened into its elbow. First back off the overtightened nipple from the elbow. As you unthread from the elbow you will be threading into the coupling. Then switch to the coupling and repeat the process. Unthread the coupling from one nipple and it will tighten on to the other.
What is the argument against gay marriage?
Aqua PEX , Dura PEX , Aluma PEX and other Pex products works well in concrete , quit flexable and easy to work with in tight locations . Aqua PEX works very well with freeze situations and returns to normal size when warmed used in Hydronic systems (heating systems using heated water or glycol) and normal potable water systems Dura PEX will burst at about the same as copper works well in concrete , used in Hydronic systems and normal potable water systems Aluma PEX will burst at about the same as copper but can be shaped and holds the shape well used in normal potable water systems (I have very limited experiances with this one as I don't have the tooling ) There are brass or PVC fittings available , crimp rings , clamps or as in the Aqua PEX you can actually stretch (special tool) the pipe and it will shrink onto the fittings
