Dude. DO NOT smoke ANYTHING through PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe!!! It will f**k you up royally, and you will most likely die. There's a reason most bongs are made of glass (or even acrylic). If you're looking for something homemade, use brass, or even copper. You should be able to find enough parts, fittings, etc at the hardware store to rig up something suitable.

Q:I was traveling at approx 30 Mph on a major mountain highway in Oregon. Road conditions were icy with a thin layer of snow. I had studded tires on my SUV. Chains were not required. I was able to regain control and park off the side of the road. No one was injured but the damage was bad enough to contact state police. 3 gravel trucks arrived prior to State police and heavily graveled the roads. After police noted statements I was cited with a $427.00 careless driving ticket. Honestly I feel I didn't deserve this citation. My question is, does anyone think I have a legitimate case against this ticket and If so how do I go about fighting it? And, will it be worth it? Or do I plead no-contest, submit a letter and hope for the best?
Faith has nothing to do with it. We still live in the physical world and as such we are bound by the laws of the physical realm.such as if lightning strikes a building, it needs to have a lightning rod to direct the strike to the ground and thereby leaving the church unharmed. The same applies to the locks on the church doors.this only started because people had the balls to steal from a church! When I was a kid, you literally could go to church to pray at any time of the day. Not any more thanks to thieves.

We could, however we do not have an infrastructure that is designed yet to handle the load and send it down a transmission line (power line) to houses or other places that needed. It would basically blow out transformers, repeaters, etc. If money was spent on building such a delivery method it would be VERY costly and it would only catch lightning in ONE place, where the system was built. The empire state building with 100 strikes a year is not enough strikes to continuously power anything, not even the empire state building. There is too much time in between strikes. Next Method would be to convert that lightning strike into chemical energy. Basically storing it into a battery and then using it from the battery. This method is HIGHLY inefficient. You would lose about 80% of the power by converting it from a lightning strike to battery power, then lose even more when trying to get power from the battery. So basically, yes we could but it would not be enough power to really power anything. Unless in the future we learn to harness it a different way. One more thing to note, is that Lightning is a good and healthy thing for the earth's magnetic field. If we started bottling up all the lightning tomorrow, it might not have a good effect on this planet.
