Q: Okay, I am running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional NT..every two weeks, it asks me to change the password to get into my computer. Yesterday, I changed it. It has ALWAYS asked me to verify the password, yesterday it did not. Now the password I thought I typed in will not allow me access to enter the machine. Q: no i like being a boy i got my own fire hose ^_^: You can use wire nuts, butt connectors, or plain old electrical tape to cover the metal ends of the wires, and then just tuck them up out of the way and leave them there. The big thing to be aware of is that some areas have codes requiring the wired smoke detectors on buildings built after a certain year, so check with your local building authority before you remove the wired ones. If you are in such an area and are concerned about them not working during an electrical outage, just add a few of the battery powered ones in critical areas (like by bedrooms). It makes a nice tight seal so your shower head won't leak at the join. You don't have to have it but it won't be such a good job. You can buy teflon tape at a Dollar store or pay a lot for it at a hardware store. My last shower head came with a little bit of tape in the package.
