Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

- Q: I am trying to stop a leak in ABS I know I can't use Stop Leak for radiators. I Would think that suchsimilure product existed for ABS plastic. They are new pipes, I a have a few minor leaks, I thought I could cure them from the inside out.
- Dorms have a gadget the place the floor RA tests the section after a smoke detector shows a topic on the main panel, and notifies the HR whether or to no longer spark off the Horns/strobes. If a pull station is pulled it is going to spark off the alarms directly. The activation of a sprinkler head will spark off the alarms directly.
- Q: The collar on the kit is supposed to poke a hole directly into the pipe, then feed water into the line that attaches to the fridge. I went to do this the other day and found that the pipe underneath the sink is made of silver mesh. (Braided?) So is that going to work? Or will putting the collar into the line going to make it leak?
- Sounds like the tires haven't been rotated and they are cupped move the front tires to the rear, switching sides, and the back ones straight to the front.. if the noise continues on the right front you have a bearing, or cv joint problem, if it moves to the left rear you have a bad tire, if it just moves to the rear, it needed rotation. If the car doesn't pull to one side, alignment is finealthough hitting holes and speed bumps hard, could cause the toe-in to be off..
- Q: what is the proper procedure for sweating copper pipe fittings?
- Air fed oven suit Mine Safety Appliance made Michelin man glub
- Q: Swagelok sells SWAK at $40 or more for an 8oz. tube. Then there's another brand, something like STALOCK or whatever it's called, and it runs for $68 for an 8oz. tube. On the other hand, you can buy a 16oz. bottle of RectorSeal 5 for $20-$30, and other PTFE dopes for less. So, how do you really evaluate which pipe dope will work for stainless? We had a horrifying time at one plant with 2 SS threaded fittings, seemed they all got galled and leaked. Any ideas? Can you really trust lower end pipe dope?
- What is the question? How do they work? Or why doesn't YOURS work? Or some other question?
- Q: I was shooting a film at school using a fog machine and the fire alarm went off. However I am not positive it was the fog machine that set it off because 2 janitors ran by the room and I heard that they thought it was smoke and pulled the alarm, I am not sure though. Anyways we told a teach after all 3 thousand students where out of the school that it was probably the fog machine. Anyways we talked to the principal about it and he said he would let us off because it was an accident and a teacher knew about it plus we told a teacher it was us. Well he said that the fire department might fine the school for the alarm going off without an actually emergency and the school would make my group pay it. The principle said once a student pulled the fire alarm before as a prank and had to pay $1000 for the fire department coming. Is this legal and would I have to pay this? Any input would be helpful
- Yes. That is why straps, clamps and clip designed to fasten copper piping are ''clad'' with a thin coat of copper.
- Q: Neither side works now. Blanket gone bad?
- This is not just a simple plug in run a few wires job you need to make sure you run the plumbing right and wont leak and make sure the drain is right. The wiring needs to be correct and make sure that its not a to small of a breaker or if there is a lot of high voltage items already on it. I have done many of them takes me about 2 hrs to put one in and I know what im doing
- Q: What would happen if I did that? ;-p
- According to my chart, 3/4 schedule 40 steel pipe has a working pressure of 2000 psi and a burst pressure of 12,900 psi. Reduce those amounts by 20% to allow for fittings.
- Q: I have an automatic 2005 Toyota Matrix with power locks and windows. For some reason, when my husband pressed the beeper to unlock all the doors, all the doors unlocked except the driver side door. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but this morning, when I unlocked the car, it did the same thing. Also, I have the car set so that when it is put into gear it automatically locks all the doors. Again, the doors all lock except the driver side. Even when I push the button to lock the doors that is on the door, all the locks lock except the driver side.I didn't know if maybe a weird button was pressed or if something is wrong with the lock. Any ideas? And also, if something is wrong with the lock, any suggestions on getting it fixed? price? or any other relevant info would be great!!! Thanks.
- yes i would put a rubber washer in, by the way we call them copper Ferrel's, or compression rings,

- It has a certain mechanical strength and good shock absorption. It is suitable for making parts under moderate stress, working parts in weak corrosive environment, such as cover, bearing seat, valve body, hand wheel and so onThe main purpose of strengthening the pipe joint is to connect, install and maintain conveniently.
- Q: Used in chemical pipes.Reinforced pipe joint (type SW, A flat bottomed)DN25X300 20# JB4726 SW flat bottomed 40T025/01 SCH80What do you mean by that?
