Water pump works by suction and lifting up the water to a desired level. The mechanism of pump to increase the hydraulic height/level of fluid. Example : The pump will pump and lift water from a 25 feet deep well and carry it up to fill a water tank placed on a 30 feet high structure.
I am taking my car in for a timing bell replacement. My car is a honda accord 2001 6 cycl. The mileage is 80K still way under the manufacturer recommendation. I am thinking of replacing the oil pump and water pump. I am thinking that since the engine is already opened might as well get this done. I don't know if this is necessary. Are these items even closed to the timing belt area? Does anyone have any recommendation when this should be done ?
Oil pump should be replace when engine is getting rebuild Oil pump at 80k = no Water pump with timing belt is preventive maintnanace thing. To replace water pump require removing timing belt. Most people just go ahead and pay extra to have water pump replace at same time with timing belt. Shop should just charge your cost of parts for water pump and coolant. water pump with timing belt is your call.
How much solar energy would you need to generate and run a small water pump? Say one that is big enough to extract water from a bucket that is 1 ft wide x 2 ft deep? What size solar panel would you need to accomplish this?
The key is, as 96sentra says, where does the water have to go. We would need to know how high above bucket (minimum) water level will the other end of the hose be, and how fast (Liter or gallon per minute) shall the water flow. This determines the pump type, which in turn determines the solar panel size.
I have some black RTV silicone that I got with a gasket for my oil pan. Can I use some on a gasket for a water pump instead of regular sealant or is there a particular type I need? If there is a certain or preferred type please give me a link to it at like autozone or something, thanks!
in the event that they are metallic yet lined in black stuff, then the black stuff is the silicon. i like to place an particularly skinny layer of liquid gasket on my moist seals (different than the headgasket). Use the paintbrush and use the liquid gasket very sparingly. ingredient being, in case you for regardless of reason do not positioned it on with a hundred% of a seal or regardless of, this is one extra layer of protection on your cooling equipment. It additionally glues the gasket to the area, which makes it elementary to place in.
when i drove my truck after about 15 minutes i was parked and let my truck idle afetr about a minute of idling my truck stalled and when i turned it back of it was squeeking and made some noises for about ten seconds and then stopped. I noticed that the pully on my fan coming from the water pump was wobbling. my tempuratue was still normal what could cause this i am suspecting taht the bearings in my water pump went?
After the pully starts to wobble the next thing is the fan comes off and tears up the radiator. If you are going to do it yourself you can rent the tool to remove the fan at Auto Zone or Advance and remember it has left hand threads. Its best to remove the fan before the belt, it will hold the pulley while you smack the wrench with a hammer to break the fan loose. You don't have to but I always recommend new by pass, tiop and bottom radiator hose ans a new thermostat. You'll find that if you unbolt and lay aside the a/c compressor and alternator and breather it is not a hard job.
Level 200 meters distance, elevation 30 meters, how much lift water pump?
According to the horizontal distance of 10 meters is 1 meters lift, 200 meters is 20 meters and 5 meters height difference of 30 Mega elbow, pump head floating down 10%, should be about 60 meters.
How many lift pumps should be used for 100 meters tall buildings?
At least 130m guarantee that the top floor customer has 3KG water pressure
