You have an air volume problem and the tank is water logged. When this happens the pump motor short cycles and creates more heat than it can dissipate. A device inside the motor windings cuts the power until it cools again. You can cut the power off,drain the tank, then start all over, it will give you1/3 air pressure volume over 2/3 water. They have an air volume control that may not be operating properly. I use an air compressor on my pump and pump air into the tank about once every two months. It all depends on how much the pump runs.

It would be best to have an auto fill tank,one that shuts off at a certain level. You would want to have a tank that doesn't pressurize. You could bury it if you wanted to get more realistic. But keep the tank small, so little kids won't fit inside if you get my drift.

wiggle the fan blades and if they move any it is a bad water pump, they will also leak a little bit under the main shaft of the water pump housing, there is a hole on the bottom and top just for this reason, the metal squealing is the impeller in the water pump, it wont last long now

You must have a surface mounted well pump also called a jet pump or you wouldn't hear a noise from a submirsable which is at the bottom of the well. Check where the motor hooks onto the pump itself to see if there are any small oil fittings. I doubt that there are, but it can't hurt to look. If you find any use 3M or similar oil to lubricate the bearings. If the house has been vacant for awhile those bearings might be rusty from sitting, and may stop swealing on their own as you use the pump and the shaft/bearings may grind the surface rust off and stop the noise. If they don't you will have to call a service company to evaluate the problem. Here is part of jet pump potential maintainence issues: Perform necessary pump maintenance: some water pumps require inspection and replacement of internal parts such as bearings or impellers as often as after just four or five years of use. I think my ls Block is from 93-95 acura. which year gsr water oil pump can I use for my motor?. also I have a 2000 si head. do I have to change the timing belt? and Last question is should I use b16, gsr type r pumps? you need the GSR/Type-R water pump. This is one of the major causes of LS/VTEC failure. The GSR/Type-R has 22 teeth while the LS/GS has 19 teeth. The extra teeth cause it to spin faster pushing more water through the system. Any time you change something related that uses the timing belt, I ALWAYS install a new timing belt, and tensioner. That way there are no worries later.
