4. FAQ
1> May we ask if the bare pump or the whole pump system would be all right for you to arrange the delivery?
The bare pump and the who systems would be all acceptable at your side. A controller will be equipped with the pump freely. Regarding the whole system, we can also make the best solar panels configuration according to your requirements.
2> Does your controller have the MPPT Function?
Yes, our controllers have. This would be not a problem.
3> Can your pump work automatically?
Yes, it would be the basic advantage of solar water pumps.
- Q: I need to get my water pump replaced because it is cracked, a coolant flush and my belt is dry. I went to pep boys because my check engine light came on.They want to charge me 950 for the job. I am reluctant to pay that much. I drive an '06 Pontiac Torrent. I am suppose to take my car in today but I am not sure if I am being ripped off or not. Is 950 too much?
- I would say that $950 is a very high price for a new water pump, considering that the pump by itself is less than $70. It should not take more than 3 or 4 hours to replace, so even setting aside $250 for the pump, belt, and flush (even that is a high estimate of the cost of those materials), that would mean that they are charging between $175 and $230 per hour to work on your SUV. I would recommend that you see if a male relative or friend can ask for a quote for the same work as I feel they are trying to rip you off. When I was in the Navy, a local repair shop charged my wife almost $900 for the replacement of a $50 ignition part that took 5 minutes to replace. When I returned from that deployment, I asked them for a quote for the same work and they gave me a written quote of $150.
- Q: When we turn our water on in the house it will run for a while and then shut off.. It has been coming back on after 5 0r 6 mins.it used to do this about once a week but now it does it every day we don't mess with any breakers because they don't get triped . We are on well and this well is about 7 yrs old anyone have an idea what could be the problem .. If any more info is needed I can reply..
- ANY extra info is a plus. Well size and construction, depth, water level, production test results, and pumping apparatus, all help in troubleshooting problems. The two most likely things I can think of that would make your water pressure act the way it does are as follows. My first guess is that your pump is capable of pumping more water than the well will produce, thus drawing the level of water in the well down to a point where the pump catches some air and quits pumping. The pump continues to turn and when enough water comes into the well to cover the pump, it's starts to pump water again. Second guess is that you have a thermal overload tripping and when enough time goes by, it resets and turns the pump on again. Overloads often trip when you have a low voltage situation at the motor. You can get low voltage form bad connections @ splices or the contacts of the pressure switch. Most well water systems go a long time between maintenence calls, especially at first when EVERYTHING is new. My advise would be to call the contractor that drilled the well and installed the pumping equipment. Hopefully they are one and the same. The contractor knows the original conditions and all equipment used, even the stuff you can't see. Because the system is relatively new, the original contractor MAY be inclined to cut you a deal on repairs. We don't know how long this problem has existed, but perhaps the system really wasn't up to par right from the start. Good luck. When you talk to the contractor, try not to sound to accusatory. He may have done his best with the geologic and economic set of conditions he was given. Nobody can make gold out of lead.
- Q: I have to replace the hot water recirculating pump in my house. It is made in Hungary and the Manufacturer's letters look almost Russian. The only words in English are the spec's (amp draw, voltage, etc.) This house was built in 1998 and the plumber's no longer in business. It looks like it just threads onto a quot;capbut I don't want to start using pipe wrenches and just mangle it (it's very difficult to get to also). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
- particular you are able to. in certainty there's a recirculating equipment called a Polaris water heater which could furnish warm water for all your place carry desires and warmth your place too. the cost of operationg a Polaris equipment is extra cost-effective than an on call for warm water heater.
- Q: Does anyone know where to find small A/C powered submersible pumps, that operate at 20-25 psi? I can only find D/C pumps for ship use.I need one for running humidifiers and misters for large terrariums
- My Husband purchased a 25 psi A/C water pump from Grangers Supply. Lift was no problem with it. Grangers is listed on the internet.
- Q: need to know how to change water pump of my plymouth voyager its a 96 and motor is a 4.
- This is the 2.4L dual cam 4 cyl. The water pump is spun by the timing belt. Get a manual and follow the instructions to change the timing belt and pump. Plan on taking several hours.
- Q: 93 Cutless Sierra FWD
- For a 2.2 4 cylinder read below: Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system. Remove serpentine drive belt, then the alternator and bracket. Remove water pump pulley attaching bolts, then remove the pulley, Fig. 20. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump. Reverse procedure to install. For a 3.3 6 cylinder read below: Disconnect battery ground cable. Drain cooling system, then remove serpentine drive belt. Remove lower radiator hose and heater hose at pump. Remove water pump pulley attaching bolts. Long bolt is removed through access hole located in the body side rail. Remove water pump pulley. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump, Fig. 15. Reverse procedure to install, torquing bolts to specifications Hope this was helpful!
- Q: i heard a water pump should not be able to move.is that correct? It is a 1995 RM250. there is no clogging in the pipes coming from the radiators with 2 fingers require force to move them but with the 1 finger it requires no force to move a couple Centimeters.
- The water pump is turned by the primary gear on the crankshaft. When you were turning the water pump - the crankshaft was moving the piston up down in the cylinder. The couple of centimeters of movement is just the play between the gears - that's normal.
- Q: My car is 3 years old and it only has 18,000 miles on it and I just got it back from the repair shop at the dealership because the water pump broke. They replaced the water pump and something else that was recalled. But I looked online and found water pumps should last a long time. What might have happened to it, and what would cause it to break?
- water pumps are cast aluminum normally...maybe there was a weak spot on the pump casting and it failed (but you would of overheated and had a mjor coolant loss that you would of noticed), or maybe the impellor is what internally failed and or the bearing on the shaft.. but yes normally water pumps last for awhile. I usually dont see replacement of water pumps unless doing timing belts and or high milage...but hell annything nowadays since everything seems to be made in China is cheap and poorly built compared to the old days...
- Q: I have a '97 Grand Prix with a 3800 V-6. There is a single bolt on the left side of the water pump that is directly behind the power steering pump pulley. How do you get the PS pump pulley off? I pulled a tricep trying to get this thing loose, and I'm no further now than when I started on it. Can anybody give me a tip on removing the pulley or the whole PS pump? I have a brand new water pump that I can't get on because of this fine piece of design by the brilliant engineers at GM!
- you dont have to pull the power steeing pulley off...There three holes in the power steering pulley that allow access to two or possible three bolt that hold the pump to the bracket... Remove the belt, then get a deep either 13 mm or 10 mm socket and place it in one of the holes in the pulley...you will find that when you remove the bolts, the pump will slide out of the way.... Do not remove any powersteeing lines or any other item from the power steering pump..You will only be causing yourself more work..... The brillant engineers at GM left you an out...All you have to do is look...ha ha
- Q: I would like to know some details about water pumping (ie. coca cola pumping water out of india) i just wanted to know some sort of prosedure like do they dig a hole and pump or what? I can't find any useful other information when i search it all that it says is that they quot;pumped waterbut nothing more. Thank you =)
- Usually they look for an underwater spring or reservoir, then they drill or dig into it. From there, they either instal a pump or use it as a well. As for how it works, refer to water pressure.
