The plane clearly states that it requires a 1000mAh 9.6v battery pack. It does not describe what type of battery connector is used, so you are going to be taking a chance any way you go. The batteries they list as 'customers also bought' are 7.4v packs, and 7.4v will not work well with this plane at all. Contact the seller. I just bought two of these new charge and play battery packs for my xbox 360 controllers, and the ring of light on the controller won't stop flashing. I can't sync a new controller to the system, control anything, or even turn the controller off (unless I take out the battery pack). All 4 quadrants on the ring of light on the controller flash simultaniously. I bought two of these, and neither of them seem to work, so I must be doing something wrong.Thanks for any help.

You have to let it charge ALL the way for like 8 hours (yes, leave the Xbox on, but in a well-ventilated area so it doesn't overheat). Once it's had its initial juice, then you should be OK. Quit trying to play it before charging it up. You're killing the life of those batteries, dude.

Higher voltage will increase the rate of fire, but I wouldn't recommend it because most stock gears cannot handle that much stress. In other words, yes but you would have to put some very good internal upgrades into the gun, or else you could destroy the gun. And the battery cannot influence FPS of the gun, only rate of fire.

You've just learned why it is not a great idea to have an electric snow shovel. That power cord is a dang nuisance! The answer to your question is not quite no. There ARE rechargeable battery devices that will supply 110VAC to operate your snow shovel; but they are heavy and not intended to be carried around. They are for emergency use of 110 VAC appliances where there is no available AC outlet. You can find them in Auto Supply stores and truck stops. They typically have both heavy-duty battery clips to connect to a car battery, as well as a standard AC power cord. This way the batteries can be charged up on the road or in a dwelling. The batteries themselves are small versions of car batteries; and as you know, they are not light. Add in the transformer to up-convert the voltage, and you've got a rather heavy device to lug around. As you might guess, this is an impractical way to operate your electric snow shovel.

i heard there was a way to fix a 18 volt cordless battery that wont hold a charge anymore.

You have to open up the battery pack and replace the batteries. They are usually NiCD or NiMH. 18 Volts 15 pcs x 1.2 V rechargeable batteries. Use the same size (e.g. AA) and make sure the AH rating is the same or higher than the old ones. Buy replacements at your local Radioshack or electronics store. You need to solder them together in series. Use heavy gauge (14 awg or higher) solid copper wire. You can pound the wire flat with a hammer to reduce its thickness if space is an issue. Use the shortest length of wire possible to reduce resistance. Optional: You can remove the positive end caps from the batteries and solder directly on the positive terminal to reduce resistance. Resistance is a very big issue in low voltage DC appliances because the smallest rise in resistance can cause a large drop in voltage and power. Good luck and save money!
