Q:Its on of the biggest helicopters in 1952-1955 I just need any information via you, internet, or even blue prints!I highly doubt that blueprints are probably destroyed
It never really took off as it was quickly replaced by the CH-54 Tarhe, but here is what I found…
Q:Does anyone have any info on John B. Crane?
Do you mean the Lecturer John B. Crane of the Redpath Chautauqua Collection? Thats the only one I know.
Q:How come you never see cranes being transported from one site to another?
because they move so slow its hard to tell if there moving or not.
Q:how much does a whooping crane eat per day?
To figure out exactly how much they eat you would have to know the exact weight of the bird, the calories in the food, and the condition of the bird. Which is a very long way of saying that I don't know the answer to your question, but there is a mathematical way to figure it out if you are really interested.
Q:The crane will only be needed once. Is it possible to hire them? How much in general would a company charge to bring one in?
of course you can hire a crane for the day, First contact a local crane hire company, they will probably visit your site to see what size crane you need, This will not come cheap, the driver has to be paid for the day and the crane costs have to be included,
Q:I've looked on the internet and I haven't found anything so far. The paper on it is due tomorrow...arrrggghhhhh...
Hi, Briisthe! Just go into Google and type - what is the migration route of the whooping crane? Then click on the article - Journey North Whooping Crane Migration Then click on the maps and all will be revealed.
Q:What is the allowable range of vertical deviation for tower cranes?
The verticality deviation range of ZOOMLION tower crane is allowed within 4/1000.
Q:if someone have formula for that, one telescopic crane is lifting and i know about the boom lenght and redius, then how i can calculate the angle,if crane crane angle indicator is not working.thankyou.
Boy! You really need to get the angle indicator fixed and calibrated! There are ways to estimate, but they are inaccurate and therefore not safe, if you have not got the expierence to do it. Don't use the crane for any load close to your SWL!!! An addition: unless you want to measure your reach, i.e. the distance from the crane pedestool to your load, then you can calculate the angle, but you don't need to anymore as you now know what the distance of your lift is and therefore you can look up the SWL on your chart. Get it fixed.
Q:Old used 200 t crawler crane is available for purchase. What are the guidelines/ thumb rules for assessing its cost ?
Supply vs demand Extreme examples: If the crane is no longer needed anywhere, the cost will be 0; no demand. If the crane still has a unique useable function and there is only one available, it's immediate cost will be very high; no supply. So, assuming that the cranes supply/demand is somewhere in the middle, the methodology for assessing it's cost would be to evaluate the following: * Where is it located with respect to where it is needed? (place value) * How quickly do I need it, and how quickly can I get the crane? (time value) * What alternative solutions are available? * How much do other similar cranes cost? * etc Hope this helps!
Q:inventor of junk yard electromagnetic crane?
British scientist William Sturgeon invented the electromagnet in 1824. The crane for lifting heavy loads was invented by the Ancient Greeks in the late 6th century BC. Who put the two together idk.
