If your talking about the power cables from the power supply to the motherboard those are fairly straight forward. It is a 20 or, 24 pin connector. Usually along the edge opposite the external connections for the motherboard. Although, the placement really depends on the manufacturer and, could even be near the middle of the board. They are keyed and, you can not plug them in incorrectly. As long as you don't force them into the slot. If your speaking of the wires from the case to the motherboard that is a little more difficult. P3 and, P4 motherboards usually have a keyed connection that simply plugs in. Other boards have markings on each of the wires corresponding with it's connection. The one thing that is the same for every board is that the two black wires must be side by side. If you've never done it before you should have labeled each wire and, made a diagram of their placement. Your best hope short of taking your computer to the local shop is to try and, find diagrams for both your motherboard and, the case.
Q:I am getting a new gaming computer for Christmas with a 700 watt, 12.5 AMP (I think) power supply. I have two power cords for computers on my shelf, but my dad is worried that a standard power cable won't properly power my computer. Do I need to get a more powerful cable? If so, please send a link to where I can buy one, I have been searching but only found standard ones. Thank you.
Any standard power cable will run you new rig. You'll need to check whether the 2 cords on your shelf have the correct fuse rating (probably 13A) in the plug.
Q:i have a SATA hard disk and i connected it with a sata power cable and recently i bought a sata optical drive and i have no power cable for connecting the drive, so i decided to connect it with the power cable of hard disk(I have two sata hard disk)
while you're meaning are you able to boot off of the IDE annoying force and get entry to the Sata force, the respond is sure. in basic terms connect the SATA annoying force, and make beneficial the BIOS settings are set to boot from the IDE force.
Q:Hey guys, I noticed that with heavy use of the power cord to my laptop, a part of the rubber surrounding the cord is open near the insertion part and you can see the wires. I'm just curious how dangerous it is. I don't have another power cord for my laptop, so do any of you have a recommendation for what I can do?
if you can see the copper on the inside then yes it is very dangerous, but if you don't want to buy a new cable all you should need is some black electrical tape and wrap it around the exposed area and it should be fine.
Q:In the wire and cable factory, will be marked on the wire and cable voltage level, I would like to ask the current market, wire and cable marked on the voltage level which? Such as: BV-450V / 750V. Cable in the order to pay attention to what issues? As well as cable inspection when the attention to what issues? More
Basically are refining, the wax is also used, the high cost of particles
Q:I have an ASUS G1SN-X1 and my laptop was working normally while plugged in. Then all of a sudden it stopped charging the battery. After it stopped charging the laptop was running off the remaining battery power. The battery eventually runs out of juice but now i can't turn on my laptop because the power cord won't charge even though the power indicator light is on on the power cord supply. I even took out the battery and just left it plugged in but still wouldn't turn on. Any suggestions on what the problem could be and how to solve it?
Seems to be a short circuit. This is a common problem with Laptops, including Asus Laptops. I've had Dells, Asus, Lenovo, and HP laptops and each laptop's power cord has broken at least once. Unfortunately, you're out of luck. You will need to buy a new power cord, which could run you anywhere from $15-60, depending on the vendor
Q:Its an 03 jetta with monsoon amp. I need step by step instructions on how to run the power cable. Pictures would be nice too. Thanks!!!!!
think of exterior the container. actually. you do no longer could desire to bypass for the period of the passenger compartment...you could run the wires below the automobile. only be valuable to tie them up nicely. stable success.
Q:I moved to another country and my computer arrived without the cord that goes from the power supply unit to the wall (aka I can?t turn it on). The PSU in question is a Corsair 750W Unit. I tried searching for independent cables but as expected no one sells them. Contacting the manufacturer is too much of a pain. I was wonder, could I find special generic cables that would work with the PSU? Not necessarily by the manufacturer. Thank you.
(link defaults to 1foot, but id recommend a 6foot cable at the minimum, as 1-3 feet can be very limiting.) If using more then 1000W of power, you will need a cable capiable of it. one above is rated at 10A, and given psu efficiency (rounding way down for very inefficient ones) you should be able to get like 900-1000W+ from it w/o any worry. (that doesnt mean using a 1000W psu.. im talking about pulling 1000W+ from the wall, and unless you have like 3 gtx titans running at 100% .)
Q:can i run a ati radeon hd 2900xt with a two 4pin molex power cable?
