If you have a stopper in your drain, you can disconnect this and bring it up.....Most likely, there is hair attached to it, keeping your sink from draining properly....There should be a lever conecting the stopper underneath the sink...If you're proficient at fixing things, you could de-attach this stopper, bring it up, remove all the gunk, put it back in, and reattach it....If you live in an apartment, it might be better to have maintenance come in and do this for you....

What are they now? You can use that same stuff to do bathtubs on your porcelain sink. Maybe just stain the vanity. Putting in some new sink hardware if needed. I just did somewhat the same in my extra bathroom. I didnt want to spend alot or replace them either. Stain $6, Tub repair kit $45 (did tub and sink), Light fixture $30, Faucet $30. $100 total and a days work for a redone bathroom, wasnt bad. If you use the Tub Kit I would recommend getting the aerosol type. I used the brush on stuff before and It was much more of a hassle and didnt come out as nice as the aerosol. Not sure about durability tho, hopefully just as good.

is the water draining good,can you see a swirl ? cover any overflow hole in the sink,fill it up and give it a plunge,you might find that you have some residue in the waste pipe then add disenfectant.is the sink wastepipe connected to anything else,has it got a decent run on the wastepipe? if not it could be stagnant water,try a few plunges 1st and then start looking at the waste pipe.

Liquids don't work well. Use a plunger and be sure to block the overflow at the top with a rag or something to prevent the plunger from just blowing air out the over flow. Put some water in the sink and plunge

Q:We just bought a mobile home and upon moving in we noticed that there is a burn on the bathroom sink, we did a tour of the place a few weeks ago the previous tenants were still living there so it had to of happened in the last couple of weeks it looks as if they left a straightener or curling iron on it and it burnt the sink to the point of the plastic melting and now it looks awful! There is no way to fix such damage. Replace the sink. In future ALWAYS put a condition in the written Offer To Purchase that allows a 'last minute' inspection (after occupants are out - the day before the deal closes). Real Estate Agents HATE that kind of conditional offer and will move heave and earth to get you to drop it. Sellers hate it too. Stick to your guns and insist upon it. If you'd had that condition in your offer for this purchase, you'd have discovered that burn and been able to cancel the deal if you wanted to do so. You'll also be in a position to demand that the sink be replaced immediately ( DO NOT accept a 'promise to do so' later. ) or to demand a healthy discount on the price. I've had RE Agents tell me that they can't put a condition like that in the Offer To Purchase. That's pure BS. You can put any condition you darned well want into an offer. Obviously, if it's a ridiculous condition, your Offer will be rejected, but a final inspection is perfectly reasonable if the place is occupied when you first inspect it.

Can, wash powder and nothing corrosive, clothes and hand contact no problem ah. It is recommended to brush a layer of detergent, half an hour after the wash, the effect is more clean.
