Q:If i were to buy rims and wheels for a 1995 lexus sc400 (RWD) and wanted to switch the rims and wheels onto a FWD car, could i? the wheels are offset (rear ones are wider), so could i just switch the rear wheels with the front wheels when i put thm on the fwd car? BTW, i already know the wheels and rims fit both cars, just wondering about the opposite (front-back) wheel sizes. Thanks
If you put wider wheel, thus wider tires on the rear wheels of a FWD, you are going to get more understeer than usual. If you look at people who race FWD in road courses, they put wider wheels and tires in front to reduce understeer. Understeer is not fun. The front of car will slide whenever you throw your car into a corner. And you need to reduce speed or adjust you steering to correct this. This is something that most race car drivers want to eliminate, but car manufacturer set up a little understeer for saftety reason to warn drivers that the car is at its cornering limit. So larger wheels and tires in rear of a FWD is not a very good idea.
Q:for ps2What games work while using the wheel?
Just about any game that involves driving will support a wheel. Any Logitech wheel is gonna get the job done. Driving Force EX, Driving Force Pro, Driving Force Pro GT, The G25. They're all terrific. All of Logitech's Driving Force wheels are gonna be considered expensive. The cheapest is gonna be the EX since its the oldest model.
Q:How do I get into the mud in the rainy day?
Rainy days or driving in the country on the road, often encountered in the case of mud into the pit. Once the wheel is found into the pit, to test the car out, you can step down the throttle, once the car can move forward or backward, then keep the accelerator pedal position unchanged, at low speed out of the muddy road. But in most cases, the car into the pit, the car can not move back and forth. At this time, we should first get off carefully observe the state of the car, take the appropriate emergency measures. If the body is not wiped, under normal circumstances, through self-help, you can drive out of the pit

Q:i am going to be purchasing a 2002 lexus is 300 here in a couple days and i am just curious about its winter driving capabilities since i live in minnesota. ive heard real wheel drive cars are worse in snow, but ive also heard that its really a matter of getting used to driving with the rear wheel drive. im looking for anyone who can help me understand if it will truly be more difficult or if buying some blizzaks or something will take care of any slippery problems.
Practice driving in winter weather: If you're learning to drive, or are unfamiliar with driving in snowy and icy weather conditions, practice after a storm in a large, empty parking lot with a seasoned driver. Practice how to brake safely, learn to get out of a skid, and how your car handles in winter weather. This can actually be a lot of fun! Put a few sandbags directly over the rear axle if--and only if--you have a rear-drive vehicle. This isn't the safest idea. The weight of the sand provides more pressure on tires to provide better traction, but the added weight in the rear of your car decrease maneuverability and braking because the added weight will increase momentum and if too much is added it could sling the rear of the car out in a turn. The sand in the bags could be used to provide traction when you're stuck by pouring some sand in front of the slipping tires. When they're in your car, tie them down if they're in the passenger area so that they don't move or fly around if you do end up swerving. But be very careful when braking if the forces on your car are not equally distributed (e.g. braking while turning), because you will have the tendency to spin backwards. Look ahead and keep a very safe distance from the vehicles in front of you (double the distance you normally would). Keep scanning the vehicles in front of you and look out for brake lights. If you've kept your distance you should be able to bring your vehicle to a stop with distance to spare, instead of having to slam on your brakes and sliding into the vehicles in front of you. Ease up on the gas if your car starts to slip in place while you're trying to accelerate from a standstill. Remember, the wheels have better traction when they are not slipping. If you have an automatic transmission put the selector lever to 2. Most cars lock the transmission in second gear to facilitate easier starting from a slippery surface.
Q:The role of the wheel
The wheels of the car consist of wheels, wheels, and connections between the two components. As the wheel is a rotating body, so the requirements of high dimensional accuracy, unevenness, and have a certain degree of flexibility and stiffness, fatigue, light weight, good economy and so on.
Q:The wheel made of round is what is the use of rounds
Rolling friction is much smaller than sliding friction.
Q:does the static wheel balancer work on car tires? around 13 to 17???sort of like the nomar wheel balancercant find nothing on that subject, but would like some input on someone who has used it or would know if that would work.if not that then a bubble balancer?thanks!
either stick with pilot powers or get the dunlop Q2's Im running Q2's on my 2008 GSX-R 1000 and I love'em I had Battlaxs before which I did like but that was until I got my Q2's
Q:Obviously all-wheel drive has better control, but what else makes it worth $3-4,000 more?
with for wheel drive, all four wheels actually have power, rather than just the front or just the back. if you get stuck in snow, u dont need chains the other wheels will to that. it also has better handeling
