Q: Hello! Can someone please tell me where the water pump is located on this vehicle? Or where I might find the answer to this question? Thanks!
water pump is located on pass side of the motor right where serpentine belt is
Q: I'm trying to make water pump with solar energy. I need to have good water pump. Could you find good websites to find DC 12v water pump, or is there any place that I can get it?
Most accessories for boats are pricey, Daniel - but not all.
Q: I have a 1997 Saturn SL2 and I was wondering how much would it be to replace the water pump? Would it be less expensive if I took it to a neighborhood mechanic instead a more popular one like Goodyear or something? Thanks for looking.
i just replaced my water pump on my jeep, the whole water pump kit was about $59.99 with lifetime warranty, most mechanics charge alot to do it, i did it myself, you just need a water pump, gasket, coolant draining pan, bottle of coolant and the procedure is pretty easy
Q: When should I replace my water pump ?
usually when leaking or noisy
Q: Why my Water Pump is leaking again? It was replace 2 month ago brand new water pump?
Early WP seal failure, can be due to partially blocked radiator or mixing of antifreeze types occasionally poor quality antifreeze some of the additives become granular and cap bad allowing too much pressure ...early WP bearing failure , fan/clutch assembly out of balance, unit dropped on shaft, hammering on fan clutch to install... In your case I'd guess radiator needs to be cleaned by Rodding it out any radiator shop does it and will verify blockage...have a new inlet tank installed while it's apart...and get cap pressure tested..
Q: Water dispenser in refrigerator has stopped working, how do I replace pump?
Replacing parts in a refrigerator water dispenser is fairly straightforward. If you have to ASK how to do it, you need to ask someone to SHOW you how. As others have stated, there is no actual pump in the refrigerator. Water pressure from the supply line is more than sufficient.
Q: What's so good about having a water pump on my stand alone ice maker? What exactly does it do?
The ones that make cubes, not slices make a sheet of ice by continuously pumping the water over a flat evaporator. Then once the ice builds up it reverses the hot gas and the slab melts off falling on the cutting grid which cuts it in to cubes. Those that operate this way are much faster and produce more ice. No pump, no ice.
Q: I need to replace a water pump on a '95 3100 Pontiac Grand Am and am looking for a guide how to do it. Also, do I need to flush out the coolant or can I just put a pan underneath the water pump and let the coolant pour out when I take the water pump off? Thanks.
no you need to drain the anti-freeze out of the radiator. after your done you can flush it or you don,t have to. take the belt off, take the bolts out, clean the surface on the engine, put a new gasket on the new pump, put some sealer on the gasket ( both sides) place the pump on the engine, put the bolts back in and tighten them evenly, put the anti-freeze back in, put the belt back on, start it up and check for leaks.
Q: I have a 1999 Volkswagen Passat and the water pump seems to be leaking. The lower radiator hose has been replaced but it still leaks a fairly substantial amount. From what I can tell the pump is still doing its job but I'm losing coolant. Is there a way I can determine if i just need a new gasket or a new pump altogether without ripping the front end off? Any feedback is appreciated.
The coolant can leak from the hoses, the core or pump. You can detect these external leaks from proper visual inspection (a mechanic) or a pressure test. If it still isn’t found then it’s the head gasket.
Q: When the pump is connected in parallel, will the head and flow change?
Parallel pump should lift the same head, the flow is the sum of the flow of a single pump.
