Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

- I would try to stay away from using any type of metal in the tank. Ive had this problem before and what I did was increase the diameter of the pump intake in the sump to decrease the suction pressure (increasing the diameter of the pipe while keeping the pressure the same will decrease the overall pressure). Then I went to the hardware store, Menards to be exact, and bought plastic strainers used in gutter systems. They come in different diameters, are round, and you'll have to play around with them a bit to find the right fittings, but they will fit into regular pvc.

- The pump they supplied for the boiler loop will be sufficient for most applications, but the building loop pump will have to be calculated. They are two separate systems even though they are connected together with a Decoupler loop. You convert all the fittings to equivalent length of pipe, and then add that number to the actual length of pipe in the system. This is used to find the resistance to flow in the system. In some cases, where the pump is almost large enough, the diameter of the pipe and fittings can be increased a size to reduce the friction losses. Call the manufacture for Tech support if possible.

- i can't give you a dollar amount but you have issues. from what you say i would consider taking everything out from the meter to the house and doing the sewer lines too. is it a slab foundation or peer and beam? too broad to answer 3500.00 to 5 K depending on this and that. and that's just a guess. not good, that's fer sure. - 1] Flexible tubing made of plastic sometimes IS reinforced. 2] There is no universal definition of what is a pipe and what is a tube, though people will offer many and varied definitions. I have used tubing that was 9/16 OD [outer diameter] 3/16 ID [inner diameter], made of 316 SS, rated for 60,000 psi. Look on Autoclave Engineers' website to see what is used at that kind of pressure - not your usual water pipe.
