An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

- not knowing where these people receive there knowledge,I can tell you that 1 1/2 pvc is 1 1/2 inside dia.and 2 inch pvc pipe is 2 inside diameter if you want to drill a hole for 2 pvc pipe make the hole 2 9/16 now this is sch.40 pvc pipe. sch 3034 is the same ID but uses different fittings because its thinner wall.Your going to have to know the astm number of the pipe to know anything about the actual size (thickness etc)

- technically speaking you cant really put an arch in it you can get different fittings to create an arch. what is it for? you can try heating it but if the pvc bubbles or burns the plastic will become thinner and it will also make it more brittle
- Q: Quick history I am remarried to DD stepdad for 3 months.was seperated from her dad for 2 years.we moved in with stepdad after the wedding, about 3 months now. - When I was in school in the 70's I never did that although I had friends who did - some of the things that I did were maybe worse in a way although still just kid pranks and nobody ever got hurt and there was no property damage. If and when the school found out who you were you were suspended for at least a week , probably 2, no if's and's or but's. Sadly nowadays we live in a different time and on campus pranks are not tolerated well at all. I've heard that a false alarm is a lower class felony and some schools have even considered it a terroristic threat, maybe this is incorrect? I don't agree with this but it's the world we live in. In my opinion the school did over react but it's pretty much predictable. Most schools nowadays have a zero tolerance policy in order to keep peace within the schools which in light of what happens now may not be an entirely bad thing. Ultimately I think that a polite but firm letter to the school board as well as principal and possibly a visit with an attorney may be what is needed for a lighter sentence but remember that the school pretty much can do as they please on this and many will support it. Schools don't like scandal so they may tone it down a bit if you are willing to make a fuss and yet compromise, just be realistic in your requests. All I know is that I was far from a bad kid but I'd end up in prison nowadays for doing what were silly pranks back then. Best of luck!

- I'm going to play the role of Mom here and say that something like a nose stud, or ear piercing, or tattoo is a decision that is best made when your older. How MUCH older will have to be up to you and your parents/guardians. That means, should something go wrong with your piercing (like some weird skin infection, for example) that you have the means to fix or correct it yourself without having to run to your parents for transportation or to pay for the doctor visit. This is one of those times when you have to really examine whether this is a want or a need in your life. Some cultures use piercings and tattoos to signify certain life achievements. What have you done, at age 11, to warrant such a permanent mark on your body? Please think about it some more. Hey, in seven more years, once you're 18, and have your own job and are your own person, your body is totally your own and everybody else will have to live with your decisionso make it a good one! - There are several schedules. The most common are 40, 80, and 160. Schedule 40 is the most common for typical cold water plumbing. Schedules 80 and 160 are usually used for drain pipes. There is also CPVC, which is used for hot cold plumbing.
