Operations Conditions
1. The medium temperature should not be over 60oC, the density 1200Kg/m3, and the pH value within 5-9.
2. During running, the pump must not be lower than the permitted lowest liquid level.
3. Rated voltage 380 V, rated frequency 50 Hz. The motor can run successfully, only under the condition the deviations of both rated voltage and frequency are not over ± 5%.
4. The maximum diameter of the solid grain going through the pump has not to be larger than 50% of that of the pump outlet.

I am calling around getting prices and some people tell me that I have to do the timing chain at the same time and that will be a great deal more money. Can I just replace the water pump? It seems that the water pump only will be about 200.00 but both could be 500.00. Please help
- You can replace the water pump and not do the timing chain. Timing chains are not designed to need replacing. If it is a belt then changing the water pump is halfway to changing the belt, so I would go ahead and do that because 165000 is a lot of miles on a belt that was probably changed at 60 to 75,000 miles. And it should not be $500.00 if the water pump was only $200.

- Q:I have a Goulds JPlus water pump inside my home. Last night, my wife and I heard it going on and off repeatedly when we went to bed. I have two shallow wells hooked up to it, so I switched wells even though I didn't believe the one I was on was dry (it was supplying H2O fine).Still no luck, so I turned it off at the breaker and shut off the valve between the tank and pressure switch. Today, the pump pressure gets to between 50 and 60, then goes off. It then loses pressure v ery quickly (approx 10-20 seconds) and goes back on when the pump switch hits the lower threshold. It sounds like the water is running back through the pump and out of the house when it goes off unless I turn the shut off valve I spoke of earlier. I changed the pressure switch and no difference.I can, however, turn it on and shower, flush, etc. I just then have to go down and turn the pump back off.Any help would be greatly appreciated!
- If there is space try to hit the head of the bolt with a hammer, the shock from the hammer blow will help you to loosen the bolt. Failing that the next thing to try is an allen key socket, with this you can use a long strong arm to apply extra torque to the bolt. Be carefully not to open up the head of the bolt as this can be a major pain. If you still cannot get it out then if the water pump is to be replaced try to get an angle grinder on the bolt to cut its head off. Once the head is off and the pump is out you can use a stud extractor of a good vice grip to remove the stub of bolt left over.

- There is no connection between the water pump and the timing. Timing is a function of the engine ignition system, water pumps are part of the cooling system. There is no relationship. The water pump is driven by the belt that drives all the other engine accessories. Changing a water pump does not in any way effect timing.

- those are VERY complicated engines with counter balancing chafts in them.i would not have faith purely anyone with this activity, because of the fact the valves can bend actually from flawed belt installation. ere is a sequence of SPECAIL save strategies tht may be rented fro the HONDA dealership or aother Honda dedicated automobile fix center. Ther are 2 strategies in touch interior the removing of your balancer that maximum automobile shops won't have. - Q:I have a '97 Chevy S-10 2.2 with 208K miles. Today on the way to work the heat cut out suddenly.I have had an issue with my engine where the temp will go up and down while on the highway but maxes out at like 215. Today after the heat cut out it was getting up near the redline before going back down to 150.I made sure the coolant was good before coming home but on the way home it was doing the same thing. I changed the thermostat but it's still doing the same thing.When I rev the engine I can see the upper radiator hose collapsing so it seems like there's a clog somewhere but I don't know how to find it. I guess it could be the water pump but then what is causing the suction on the upper radiator hose?Anyone have any ideas?
- You have a leak in a hose. I would suspect a heater hose or lower radiator hose. When you put water into the radiator, you still had air in the system, this prevents you from having the required amount of coolant in the system. Find the leak, fix the leak. Jack up the front of the truck to where the radiator cap is at the highest point in the system, then add coolant. Problem solved.
