Q:About how much should I be paying for a windshield wiper motor for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara?
Refurbished ones run around 55-60, do a quick google search for 2000 jeep windshield wiper motor lots of options to choose from
Q:2005 MaximaSometimes windshield wipers turn on and it happens a lot more in warm weather. Everything else in the electrical system seems to be working find. The dealer wants to change something called IPDM and charge several hundred dollars which I am not ready to do. Any other ideas?
Let me check that circuit. Yes I would have to agree with your dealer. The IPDM is located on the right side of the motor compartment under that plastic cover and another plastic lid with the fuse designations on the side When the wipers are running wild with rap on the IPDM with a Screwdriver Handle. Nissan Shop Manual I looked at it appears that the switch inside just talks to a CPU inside the IPDM and that device turns on wipers washers with relays for each speed. IPDM powers lots of other remotely operated electrical devices. IPDM is retangle shaped 1 1/4 inch thick with about 20 fuses and 15 black relays and 6 power wire sockets with lots of wires each. IPDM has two catches on each side and pull straight up. Get one out of a wrecked car but you must know that the trim level on the wreck is the same SL to SL SE to SE and LE TO LE. Things like cornering lamps HID headlights auto sunroof ECT. Different on different trim level cars. Good Luck
Q:I don‘t have a garage but want to protect my windshield wipers from being frozen on the window. Any ideas? Would wrapping in plastic work?
Place large trash can liners on the windshield under the windshield wipers to keep them from freezing onto the windshield and avoiding having to scrape the windshield entrey. Spray the wipers with WD-40 to keep the snow and ice from sticking to the wipers themselves.
Q:My winshield wipers aren‘t working at all. All I hear is a noise, but it isn‘t moving like it‘s supposed to. I want this fixed immediately, just in case it rains. What are some causesto be aware of before I do estimates and take it in for repair? I never had this issue before. Its a 2006 pontiac g6.
Windshield Wipers Not Working Properly
Q:91 Dodge Ram 250. I have tried pulling, prying, etc. I need the hole wiper arm removed to see if it has sheard completely off. I can not get the wipers to move and know the motor is trying to work, but just not moving the blades at all. I know how to take off the actually wiper blade from the arm so please don‘t explain that procedure
At the base of the arm there is usually a clip that needs to be pulled or pryed outward to release the arm from the drive.
Q:While in a rush to get out, I put the fluid in the wrong place. The car has not overheated but I have smelled the fluid evaporating. There is no difference in engine temperature or running condition. Its a 2002 civic LX with the non vtec motor. Can I leave it in to evaporate or should I change the fluid?
unless your car has a coolant leak it will not evaporate as cooling systems are considered sealed, unless they have leaks. you need to flush your coolant, probably a few times. the cheapest way to do this is to drain and fill with DISTILLED water 2 or 3 times. and afterward, refill with the proper coolant. washer fluid is not compatible with coolant and will cause rusting of the radiator and engine block.
Q:When pressing the button to spray the fluid, the fluid does not spray, and the wipers do not come on. What could cause this? Can‘t even hear the motor try to work. Would this be a fuse? Prior to this problem, had a friend plug a cellphone car charger cord into the cigarette lighter and it blew a fuse. That fuse was replaced, but now we have this problem with the wipers.
do the wipers come on otherwise? if so it could be a problem with the multifunction switch(the one that controls the wipers, signals, high beams etc) or a relay for the wash mode
Q:My windshield wipers stopped in the middle of a storm the other day. They won‘t move and I have no clue what is wrong, but I feel like it may be a simple solution. If anyone has any idea what may be wrong, it would be greatly appreciated!
You probably broke a drive lever or shaft and that piece will have to be replaced. Course the wiper arm could have just become loose and is slipping on the splined shaft. No you can not fix it on your own.
Q:I need help with coming up with a tagline for this product Speedwipe Windshield Wipers Blades Any suggestions?
one wipe is all you need (c)
Q:i need to replace my windshield wiper blades on my 2002 toyota.which are the best ones to buy??thanks!!!!
I have been through just about every windshield wiper brand out there because I have a 2 setting wiper control on my 82 s10 so blades are gonna wear quick! So far my personal favorite that has been quiet and has out last, Bosch, Trico, Anco, Michelin, Teflon, and all the others have been Rain-X. They will cost you about 20 dollars or more a blade but well worth it!
It is our hope to promote, by joint efforts, both trade and friendship to our mutual advantage. We look forward to receiving your enquiries soon.
