Q:How much do solar panels usually cost?
You okorder.com/
Q:I have a 6v solar panel , but a 3v dc motor doesn't run with that!!!!?
It may be that the power output of your solar panel is not enough to drive the DC motor. It is producing up to 6 volts but it may not be producing many milliamps. LEDs need very little power to work but DC motors often need quite a high current to get them turning. If you can run several solar panels in parallel, you can probably increase the available current. Alternatively, can you expose the existing panel to much more light so as to get it to work at its maximum output? That might work. Good luck with your science exhibition.
Q:what materials would you use and how would you construct solar panels enough to run a household?
Silica based solar cells are not the kind of thing you whomp up in you basement. Here are a couple ideas for solar systems you can build and install yourself. Take a 4 x 8 sheet of /2 inch plywood. Frame sides with 2 x 4's. Screw tin cans in a staggered row (checker board) pattern inside frame. The more cans the more heat you get so place them nearly touching. Paint cans and entire assembly flat black. Cover top with glass, plexiglass (best) or heavy mill clear plastic (cheapest)Place on roof. Drill 3-4 inch holes in opposing sides. Run pipe or tubing into house. Attach to small low speed fan. The black paint will absorb sunlight and heat. The air moving through box will carry heat into house. It's a cheap efficient way to help heat your home. You can vary size and shape of box to fit your roof. If you use more than one box, hook them up in series. More boxes mean more surface area means more heat. To heat water. Take a steel tank. A car gas tank works well. It is galvanized so it won't rust, is cheap, and easily available at any auto salvage yard. But you will have to flush in throughly to remove gasoline odor. A steel 55 gallon drum is easier to work with but may cost more. Paint exterior of tank flat black. Weld/glue/clamp water pipes to tank. Place on ground in area that gets lots of sunlight. Attach water supply to tank and route discharge pipe to house or appliance. Black painted steel absorbs heat from sun light and heats water. In spring and fall you get warm to hot water. In summer you get scalding hot water and in winter you get cold to luke warm water. Both of these solar powered systems are seasonal and their output varies according to location and climate, but they are very inexpensive and easy to build and provide FREE heat and/or hot water for many years with little or no maintainence.
Q:Please explain KW Solar Panels. What does it mean.?
I'm absolutely no expert within the field but hope to be trained rather more in the future. I am in the infancy stage of discovering as many choices as possible in the design and construction of a total inexperienced condo. That being stated, a distinctive nearby news story sparked my interest after they investigated the price effectiveness of residential sunlight panel systems. Here in Austin, Texas, through subsidies and incentives furnished, which you could set up a system that costs roughly 22.5k for about 7. It appears these deductions come from a federal incentive (which is a very small component) combined with those set by means of the city itself. Austin is an attractive modern city so I imagine their incentives maybe just a little higher than most however which you can call your city's common information line (3) and do a little more digging. Yet another option you might have is renting the equipment. I used to be advised the day gone by that a manufacturer here on the town would enable for the set up and use for a month-to-month rate. I know how tight cash will also be in school and 7 thousand might now not be tangible. The whole trouble of vigour conservation is so conventional nowadays that new information is constantly popping out. Give your current energy supplier a call and see what they may be able to inform ya. I am hoping you in finding anything that works for you. -G
Q:advice what solar panels to purchase?
Selecting the right solar panels is like shopping for a car. Shop around and compare prices. Make sure the frame material will not rust or corrode away after a few years if you are near the ocean. Talk to satisfied customers is always wise. Get the guarantee in writing.

Q:What is so great about solar panels ?
Almost sure that you must pick up everything that have to do with solar energy at www.okorder.com.
Q:so i'm wanting to eventually get solar panels.?
Graminoids are among the most versatile life forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous period, and fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing phytoliths of a variety that include grasses that are related to modern rice and bamboo. Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type; grass is a valuable source of food and energy for all sorts of wildlife and organics. Graminoids are the dominant vegetation in many habitats, including grassland, salt-marsh, reedswamp and steppes. They also occur as a smaller part of the vegetation in almost every other terrestrial habitat. There are some 3,500 species of graminoids. Many types of animals eat grass as their main source of food, and are called graminivores – these include cattle, sheep, horses, rabbits and many invertebrates, such as grasshoppers and the caterpillars of many brown butterflies. Grasses are also eaten by omnivorous or even occasionally by primarily carnivorous animals. In the study of ecological communities, herbaceous plants are divided into graminoids and forbs, which are herbaceous dicotyledons, mostly with broad leaves.
Q:How does a solar panel work?
The term solar panel is best applied to a flat solar thermal collector, such as a solar hot water or air panel used to heat water, air, or otherwise collect solar thermal energy. But 'solar panel' may also refer to a photovoltaic module which is an assembly of solar cells used to generate electricity. In all cases, the panels are typically flat, and are available in various heights and widths.
Q:How much power does the solar panel produce?
I sincerely doubt that you have a solar panel that is 4% efficient at converting sunlight to electricity.
