I put vinegar in my automatic washing machine for the final rinse it does the job of the more expensive fabric conditioners even the whites and I never wash my black and denim and very dark colours in soap as eventually it leaves little white spots of soap on the clothes. I wash my dark clothes and denim in vinegar and for the rest I put it in the final rinse. Vinegar is also the best thing to clean your microwave. Just put a dollop of vinegar in a microwaveable bowl of water and turn on the microwave for 5 minutes. Then remove the bowl from your microwave as the vinegar in the steam will of loosened all dirt in your microwave then squeeze out your dish cloth and wipe the inside of the microwave and the dirt just disappears onto your cloth. 2 seconds and my microwave is clean and dont discard the vinegar water untill after you have finished cooking as it will absorb all the cooking smells from your kitchen.. Vinegar is also good for sunburn even on children. I bought a book called the vinegar book and their are 1000s of things you can use vinegar for including a gargle for sore throats provided it is diluted with water of course so I would advise anyone to buy themselves a copy of the vinegar book Vinegar is a disinfectant and I only buy the cheapest bottle I can see on the supermarket shelf and it works the same as the dear stuff. One last important thing although I put vinegar in my bath water in hospital after an operation please keep it away from the eyes. Let that sit for about 20 minutes. Then wash the rug in your machine using the cold water setting and Woolite. I would not add fabric softener. After washing, hang to air dry. Do not machine dry. There is a chance machine washing will ruin your rug, but cold water machine-washing is as close as hand-washing as possible. If you let the rug air dry, there is a good chance it will survive. Q: I tried using Prosolve Triple Action on my carpet after staining it with tea...IT DIDN'T WORK!!Any ideas!?: Try blotting the tea stain with a white cloth or paper towel. Do not rub, as that will only spread the stain and cause it to possibly set deeper into the carpet fibers. Continue blotting with clean towels until you get most of the tea stain up. Blotting is repeatedly pressing directly down onto the spill. Step2 Mix a half cup of white vinegar with one cup of warm water and apply it to the tea stain using a spray bottle. If you don't have a spray bottle, you can carefully pour the mixture on the stain. Step3 Blot up the vinegar mixture using clean white cloth or paper towels until the towels come up clean. Step4 Make a solution of one teaspoon dish detergent to one cup warm water, and apply to the tea stain if the vinegar did not remove the tea stain completely. Blot as much up as possible, removing the soap mixture and the tea stain. Step5 Rinse the carpet by spraying or gently pouring clear water on the stain. Blot as much up as possible, and let the area air dry for at least one hour. Step6 Check the area after about an hour. If any of the tea stain remains visible, mix one teaspoon of peroxide in one cup of warm water, spray the stain and blot until the stain is gone.

Just pry up the carpet at the walls roll the carpet up to the point you can fix the pipe...... Then after it's finished then roll the carpet back and use a knee kicker or power stretcher to stretch the carpet back into place, then tuck the carpet between the tack strip and the wall...... Also there should be a crawl space under the house, to get to the pipes.......There should some kind of access door to get down there, you just have to find it...... Anyway Good Luck..............
