Q: i know what they are and what they look like, but how do you give someone one?and how long do they last?and why do people like them'?
you have to punch them in the throat. hard. dont hold back. they last a long time, but even longer if you wear a ring.
Q: Where can i get good deals on dirt devil vacuum cleaners and supplies?
You okorder It's the best vacuum cleaner OKorder store
Q: I would like to know how exactly was the Vacuum cleaner invented, what is it's main purpose? Are there any unintended sequences from this invention? IE: Is it being used for things its not supposed to?Thank you for your opinions
I noticed you brought that up on Patient PAws question about this. I am confused though, is it for SELLING 50 dogs, or BREEDING 50 dogs (as in 50 b*tches or a mix). WOuld you be OK with the cap on a number of dogs you can own, or not counting co-ownership (though that could mean that puppy mills would just have 100 owners of the dogs and they could be called boarding facilities) The laws already on the books are too vague and expensive to enforce, and while I will admit I don't know specifics about the laws we have it seems like capping the number of dogs is an easy way to monitor things other than specific laws about conditions that can be more easily avoided. I think that a reaonable cap is a good idea, though like you point out what is reasonable is up for discussion. How many puppies can a responsible breeder be connected to in a year? 100? 150? FInd some number less than the worst of the worst puppy mills but above the good breeders. It isn't a magic cure, just a start. I think the real answer to stopping puppy mills is for people to stop buying, but laws certainly would speed up the process. I was just thinking about all the arguments for laws with animals. People say we need to fucus on our problems but with animals the sad part is they have easy solutions! If people would only get pets they could afford and leave breeding to the people who know what they are doing, there would be no need for shelters and those resources coudld be put to work on arguably more important but much more complicated problems! I would like to see something done, I know that nothing will make this just go away but I think SOME step is necessary. And if nothing else, talking about this law is helping educate people about puppy mills, so be thankful for that part of it at least. Pets are a luxury, why do we even need to waste money on these issues!? It sickenss me that people are so irresponsible we need to be baysat like that.
Q: What are everybody's opinions on the Kirby HI/HII/LI/LII vacuum cleaners/carpet shampooers?
My opinion is that you NEVER want to buy a carpen shampoo machine. The ones for regular people are really worthless. The best thing to do is get somebody over to shampoo your carpets - they have a huge machine in their truck, and it actually works. Talk to any rental outfit or store that sells construction materials - the contractors often hire these guys to clean up their places... and they're not that expensive.
Q: My old vacuum cleaner is slowing breaking down. I've been looking around at new vacuum cleaners and everyone talks about how good the Dyson vacuum is. Is it worth it?
I like my Dyson but you should be aware of several things before you buy it. It is terrific on carpets but lousy on bare floors. The attachments fall off easily and its a real pain to use them with that retractable wand. Also, be sure and look for any small object that might get sucked into the brushes because the belt that runs them is very skinny and easy to break and impossible for you to repair without taking to a repair shop. I know because I've had mine in twice already - once when it caught the edge of an afghan and another time when a small cinder from my fireplace got into the brushes. Still, it cleans a carpet like nothing else I've ever used.
Q: I've heard Oreck vacuum cleaners are very good and light weight, has anyone had good or bad luck with them?
Dyson is way better than Oreck. Dyson offers way more capabilities and are cooler to look at than a dull Oreck.
Q: are Henry Hound vacuum cleaners any good for getting dog hairs out of carpets?
I do not know about the Henry Hound but the DYSON Animal is great. I think it could suck the paint off the wall if I left it there long enough.
Q: They are just sitting around my bedrooms. How do I hide them away?
My mother-in-law has a cloth cover shaped like a country mouse with a long, flowing dress for her upright vacuum, but that might not be everyone's style.
Q: My moms friend offered to give me some work here and there since I cant find a job. He has his own business of cleaning large businesses. He called me and told me he could use my help vacuuming the ceiling at a grocery store. He just asked if I was afraid of heights because quot;we'll be between 12-16 feet up on a lift vacuuming the ceiling, nothing major. Is it just a regular vacuum with a wand?
backpack and extensions
Q: My Hoover Wind Tunnel canister vacuum cleaner, which I purchased less than two years ago, bit the dust. I took it in to the authorized Hoover repair shoppe, and it will cost more to fix the darn thing than what I paid for it (well over 230 bucks). I bought it because Consumer Reports recommended it. It worked great (when it worked) but I had to take it in to repair the latch which kept the head on the wand and that cost and now this. I read up on the internet and find all sorts of complaints about Hoover, that it is no longer the company that it used to be (since it sold out to Maytag). My question is, what is a great vacuum cleaner that will not break the bank and will last more than two years? I have a dog, four kids with a stay-at-home mother so it needs to be durable, powerful, non-dust emitting, etc. Thank you very much for your input, especially personal experience with what has worked for you. God bless.
