Gently push the tubing over the dipstick end and then slowly pull it out of the dipstick tube. 2. If this doesn't work then the dipstick tube *should* be removable, sometimes nut or bolts will hold it secure in place and those items as well as any parts in the way of access of the dipstick tube will need to be removed. - yes, it is fine that they took your blood pressure in the same arm as an IV. many anti anxiety medications cause dizziness/drowsiness so that was most likely the problem.
