Features of pvc pipes :
1) Light weight, easy to load and unload: PVC pipe is very light, convenient to handle loading unloading, and installing.
2) Good chemicals and drugs resistance: PVC pipe has its excellent resistance to the erosion caused by acids and alkalines, a great help to the chemical industries.
3) Small resistance to fluidity: The smooth surface reduces resistance to the fluids. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, much less than other pipes, Under same discharges, smaller cabibre of the pipe can be uesd.
4) Strong mechanical strength: Good resistance to water pressure, outside impact and pressure, is satisfied under any conditions.
5) Good electrical insulation: excellent insulation nature against electricity. the pvc pipe can be served as conduits and pipes in construction cable and wire.
6) Water quality unaffected: The solution tests on the PVC pipe show no affect on water quality when the water flows through is. It is considered the best piping material for running water works.
7) Simple installation: Very easy to connect, thus much time and laborcost may be saved.
Application of pvc pipes:
1) Structure Engineering, home water supply and drainage |

- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to PVC pipes in terms of flexibility?
- Plastic tubes and PVC pipes are both flexible to some extent, but PVC pipes are generally more rigid and less flexible compared to plastic tubes.
- Q: i got water leakin on the driver floorboard and i figured it was the drain tube but i cant find it to save my life. anybody have an idea? any help is appreciated. thanks
- OMG we spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the one on a Galant. Look under the dash on the driver's side towards the center up by the front firewall. Up and above to the right of the gas pedal. The left side of the big black plastic airbox is hopefully right there, if it's not covered up in trim panels, and there is the black plastic elbow tube coming from the box then bending forward through the firewall. Use that point of reference to go on the engine side and try to find it poking through the firewall. It only sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Might be some metal hydraulics in the way. Probably a full arm length down, and that's with you draped over the car. It's a nightmare to get at, but it's doable once you find it and then find a way to snake your arm in from underneath. I used a long plastic tube taped to the blow tip of an air compressor and fed it in to the drain tube. Some people say stick a wire in , but I found the 90 degree bend in the tube on the inside made that worthless.
- Q: How are plastic tubes printed with instructions or warnings?
- Plastic tubes are typically printed with instructions or warnings using various printing methods such as screen printing, pad printing, or digital printing. These techniques allow for the precise application of text, symbols, or images onto the surface of the tubes. The choice of printing method depends on factors like tube material, desired resolution, and the complexity of the design.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to impact?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to impact.
- Q: ive heard stories about syrian hamsters getting stuck in tubes.
- Hello, It would be smarter if you didn't use that kind of cage. The plastic tubes fall apart and it's not very safe or secure for the hamster. A Syrian hamster Shouldn't get stuck, but you never know. I perfer to use aquariums with wire lids. They work amazing. Or else get a plastic storage container (square bucket thing) and drill holes into the sides and roof. (don't put the holes to big or close together; cage may crack or hamster may get out). I'm not fond or the critter trail cages, especially those with plastic tubes. I Hope this Helps!
- Q: FPC pipe is what tube, no can be used in outdoor direct buried?
- FPC is PVC semi rigid plastic wire and tube, FPC. It has the characteristics of high density, light weight and thin thickness;
- Q: i have to make it at school so i can't make anything else (wooden box etc)i need to heat 4 litres (a gallon) of cold water in the space of roughly an hour and a half using just solar energycould i please get an easy step by step guide for this?how will i make the water circulate through the tube etc? (this was just an idea given by my teacher, the solution doesnt have to incorporate this)
- How hot do you have to heat it? A coiled black plastic tube filled with water will circulate the water on it's own. The heated water will expand and rise in the coils, and the cooler water will fall in the coils, once the action starts, it will flow on it's own. It will take a lot of coiled tube to heat the water to a noticeable degree and make it circulate on it's own. Try getting enough black tube to hold 4 liters of water, coil it and fill it with water, and connect the ends together. Take it apart at the end of 1 and half hours, and you will find the water temperature has gone up. Or you can place both ends in a plastic milk jug if you are allowed to use one, and the water will circulate out of the jug, be heated by the black tube and sun, and then circulate back into the jug. You will have to place one end of the tube at the bottom of the jug and the other end at the top of the jug and the coiled pipe would need to be laying flat at the save level as the top fo the jug for it to circulate
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for pharmaceutical packaging?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for pharmaceutical packaging. They are commonly used for packaging creams, ointments, gels, and other semi-solid products. Plastic tubes offer advantages such as easy dispensing, precise dosage control, and protection against contaminants.
- Q: What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the construction packaging industry?
- There are several advantages to using plastic tubes in the construction packaging industry. Firstly, plastic tubes are lightweight, making them easy to handle and transport. They also have a high strength-to-weight ratio, meaning they can withstand heavy loads without being too bulky. Additionally, plastic tubes are resistant to moisture, chemicals, and UV radiation, providing excellent protection to the packaged materials. Moreover, plastic tubes are highly customizable, allowing for various shapes, sizes, and colors, which can enhance branding and product differentiation. Lastly, plastic tubes are cost-effective and recyclable, making them a sustainable packaging solution in today's environmentally conscious world.
- Q: I need to build a roller coaster
- That doesn't seem to be a suitable material, but they have it at hardware and plastic stores.
