Q: ive heard stories about syrian hamsters getting stuck in tubes.: Hello, It would be smarter if you didn't use that kind of cage. The plastic tubes fall apart and it's not very safe or secure for the hamster. A Syrian hamster Shouldn't get stuck, but you never know. I perfer to use aquariums with wire lids. They work amazing. Or else get a plastic storage container (square bucket thing) and drill holes into the sides and roof. (don't put the holes to big or close together; cage may crack or hamster may get out). I'm not fond or the critter trail cages, especially those with plastic tubes. I Hope this Helps!
