Q: What is the general use of the stool on the floor so that the floor does not spend?
It's fine with glue
Q: what does it mean, that your pool has a sponge floor?
Did you just install the pool? If yes, the sand underneath the liner takes a few weeks to settle and it will feel soft and spongy until settled. There is nothing wrong.
Q: 12 x 15 foot floor
Hi, 'W. Depends a lot on what the tile is applied to. If it's on thinset on concrete backer board, a day's work, if you can pry up sections at a time. If it's thinsetted directly to a concrete slab, then it's one or two tiles at a time, with thinset and some grout still stuck to the slab, so back over again to shave that off, maybe three days of messy, dusty work to get a clean floor - and watch out for sharp edges. Using a rental Bosch demolition hammer will get it done, coming in at a low angle. And gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, dust-control plastic sheeting, and covering HVAC vents. One of the next projects here will be peeling the tile off the kitchen floor, previously installed by the former owner directly on the plywood sub-floor, estimated removal time around two hours. They will actually pop loose with no effort on my part, so I'll just help them along. (Too much H&G TV?)
Q: I mop with hot water and pine-sol mix in a bucket then i proceed to pour the mixture on the floor and mop it around but then when i let the sun dry it out it leaves my floor with these weird water stains on the floor. What is the proper way to mop a floor so i wont have to do it over and over?
You are leaving the dirty stuff on the floor? How are you picking up the Pinesol mixture? You wring out the mop, mop, clean in the solution, wring, mop, etc. Then clean mop in clear water and rinse floor by going over it again, changing water from time to time. The put a big bath towel under each foot and skate the floor dry to eliminate water streaks.
Q: I am getting ready to lay some laminate flooring. I am going to replace the bueatiful parquet flooring the previous owners left in the dining room and the linoleum tiles placed over the linoleum sheet floor in the attached kitchen!! (The previous sentence was written with sarcasm!!) I have removed the parquet and both layers of linoleum, and was left with the subfloor covered in dry glue where the parquet was and what looks like floor leveler where the linoleum was. The glue for the parquet is some what even but coarse, the "floor leveler" is cracked and big pieces are missing sporadically around floor where it came up with the flooring.I was wondering how even the floor has to be for the laminate? I am going to be putting down padding, but want to make sure I don't have boards that sink when you walk on them. If you do recomend me removing the filler and the glue, what do you think I should use? Thanks.
The click and lock laminate flooring can go over a floor or subfloor with irregularities. I locks together as a sheet, and is a floating floor. You must be certain to use the underlayment, or it will squeak like crazy, and make certain that ALL the joins are true, with NO gapping or you will have huge problems down the road. If you have two pieces that absolutely won't join smoothly, even with tapping, put them aside and place them with a different sheet. No amount of hitting and yelling will make them work together.
Q: Pergo Flooring install question
Yeah, despite what the instructions say, you can install laminate on top of almost any even, hard surface. I've put it on top of slab, linoleum, and sub-flooring without any issues and without ever using the plastic vapor lock sheet.
Q: Modern life with wood flooring, and fashionable and beautiful, do not know the daily use of any attention? Are you comfortable with the floor? More

Q: Anti-static overhead flooring the most thick and how much
Huitong steel anti-static floor specifications 3cm, 3.5cm, 4cm, 4.5cm
Q: my mother wants to lay down new vinyl flooring in the bathroom, but she rent, so she wants it to be a cheap easy project and emphazise on the cheap part (its a very tiny bathroom). shouled she pull up the old flooring or no? is it ok to lay it down ontop of the old floor? she doesnt have the money to re-leven the floor. and should she use glue to glue to the vinyl or now?
Hey there, the best way to lay laminate flooring is to buy the sheet-type. The square tiles are a PITA! First, remove the old floor covering and clean all debris. Then it's so much simpler if you use sheets of newspaper laid over the floor and taped together to form a perfect paper pattern of the area to be covered. Then roll out your new flooring out in the driveway, or the middle of the garage floor-where ever there's plenty of room. Tape your paper template to the laminate and cut it to the exact size for your bathroom-lots easier than trying to cut the flooring in place-underneath cabinets and behind the toilet, etc. If you take care in making an exact pattern, then its straightforward, easy really, to put the laminate in place without any trimming at all. Good Luck!
Q: Bathroom decoration is to first paste tiles and flooring or to install the first water heater and toilet? Have to say that the next thanked
Tiles and flooring first
