 FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.  What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:but, not all the same time b/c I can‘t afford it. which project should be done first? a friend told me it is better to replace the tiles first because the dust is not good for paint.paint vanities orreplace tiles orreplace the bathtub?
tile goes up to the tub so ide do the tub first so u dont have to mess up the edge's on your new tile
Q:How to use ordinary drill drill on the tiles to hang things hanging?
Ordinary drill ~ more difficult to use, you can use a variable speed "impact drill" "can rarely smash the tiles. When drilling with a very slow speed to impact, and so on through the tiles can be full impact after the full The
Q:I live in a condo. The previous owner had off-white ceramic tile installed on the entire first level! I don‘t like it - can it be covered with hardwood or does all the tile need to come up? Thanks
This Site Might Help You. RE: can wood flooring be installed over ceramic tile? I live in a condo. The previous owner had off-white ceramic tile installed on the entire first level! I don‘t like it - can it be covered with hardwood or does all the tile need to come up? Thanks
Q:My husband ( yes...the one with the dents in his head from the cooker hood ) is fixing rustic tiles in my kitchen. He has done loads of tiling with plain tiles ( i.e straight edges!!) but we're wondering about spacing these with irregular edges. Very little advice on the web apart from to space them more widely which doesn't really help! Anyone done this and pleased with the result?
Boy Boy and Julie are right about these types of tile.. One thing they didn t hit on is the type of tile can make a difference on the spacing. The body type and the thickness will effect the type of grout you use and thus the spacing also..From experiance ( 20 years) I m guessing you ll need a sanded grout and a minimum of 1/8 inch spacing from the way you discribe the tile..If they have a rounded type edge keep the space to and 1/8 th inch since when you grout it flush that round edge will cause the grout joint to widen and look like 1/4 inch space..If there a square edge then you cal go to maybe 3/8 or 1/4 inch depending on the look you like and just how much outta size they are..GL any ?? e mail me
Q:I recently got some ceramic tile for free that the construction company was just going to throw away. How do I tell if they are wall or floor tile? I think it has something to do with the way the back of the tile looks, but I'm not sure.
Wall tile is on the wall and floor tile is on the floor. Seriously, there's no real difference. Although, floor tiles are generally bigger (12+ inches square), while wall and counter tiles are more like 4-6 inches square.
Q:Is there a site you know that would be helpful for this. I am going to be doingthe kitchen walls, no back splash from counter. Tile will start at counter go up to bottom of cabinets.I was thinking of using a regular tile then half way up putting a 6 inch strip of glass tile, they are smaller really add SPUNK! lol I need some pointers on doing it though. Or any tips you might have.THANKS!

Q:I am torn between using roof tile or slate roof? But my husband wanted roof tile more. You think it‘s good to use that?
You can find different shapes of tile roof like roman, tegula, tower and flat. All these shapes make it possible of overlapping and interlocking of tiles very well. These types come in vivid varieties. You can find one that are generally made from ceramic and concrete roofing materials. You can also have a good choice of multiple colors. You can easily coat these colors on the surface. You always need to consider what kind of roof tile you are going to use if you are concerned about color. For example, color of cement tile is not appropriate for protection of tiles. After some time you will find that the color of tile is going to be subdued. Whole appearance of your roof will be totally changed. But if you try to use Terracotta then it won’t fade easily.
Q:Anyone have any experience with using glass mosaic tile as the kitchen counter material (not just as the backsplash)? This would be for a lightly used area of my kitchen counter by the sink - not the primary work area. Would love to hear any pros and cons. Thanks!
Kitchen tile can be inexpensive, such as vinyl and linoleum tiles or they can be expensive, such as custom designed ceramic tiles. Do your homework before getting married to an envisioned look in your head! Tile and home improvement stores can help you estimate the amount of product that will be required for your kitchen. Before you select a material you will need to decide what surface the tile will be applied. Tile can be placed as a backsplash behind a stove, or on the wall to the underside of the upper cabinets. Tile is a popular countertop material, and can also be used on the kitchen floor.
Q:about a year ago i had tile installed on my home but winter is here and i was wondering if i could get carpet installed over the tile without getting the tile damage
Actually, if you're talking about ceramic tile, you can't just lay carpet over it... unless you really like the look of seeing the grout indents from the tile that will eventually show through the carpeting. Sorry... I do know how you feel though because my entrance, my hallway, my kitchen and dining area as well as the powder room are all ceramic tile. I live where it gets down to -46 Celsius (with windchill factor). One day, I'll change everything but the kitchen for either hardwood or bamboo or cork, but for now, I solve the cold feet problem by using runners in the hallway, area rugs in the bathroom and kitchen and a sqaure rug in the dining area, under the seating and table (I have a round table). I have an entrance rug and rugs for all the ?(% boots! I also have a basket of home-made knitted slippers in various sizes. That way, even if a guest comes buy (in February, with soaking wet boots and only nylons on her feet), they can enjoy the warmth. There might be a way of putting down a veneer floor without nails, directly on top of your ceramic tile. It would have to be easy to remove. Perhaps using silicone, but you might want to ask that question here on answers, and get a specialist in that area to help. If you can do it without ruining your tile, then you could easily glue a carpet to the veneer floor. My final thought is this: If you're here on Yahoo answers in the decorating forum, you likely enjoy decorating. So take the throw rugs and and area rugs and have fun with it. Turn it into a decorating scheme. When Fall rolls around, pull out those rugs, match them to your decor and color scheme and turn them into part of the room. When Spring rolls around, roll up the rugs, sweep out the winter and turn your floors back into a soothing cool for tired feet. Hope this helps!
Q:A roof tile falls off the roof of a house. An observer inside the house notices that the tile took 0.2 s to pass a 1.6 m window of the house. If the tile feel from rest, how far above the top of the window did it fall from? Give your answer in meters, recall that this is height above the window and has a positive sign, do not enter units.
first s= ut+1/2gt^2 1.6=0.2u+0.5*10*0.04 1.6=0.2(u+1) u+1=8 u=7 height = (7^2)/(2*10) = 2.45 using third eqn of kinematics
