1.Description of PVC Pipe :
Material: Virgin Rigid PVC resin, no recycle material
Process: vacuum forming extrusion
Color: various colors, we can make color according to Panton card No.
Quality Standard: Smooth surface, no spot, no shrink mark, no surface quality defect.Check from cross section, homogeneous in density, good plasticizing degree, relative chemical/physical property meet customer requirement. We supply different environment protection products to meet different market requirement.
2.Features of pvc pipes :
1) Light weight, easy to load and unload: PVC pipe is very light, convenient to handle loading unloading, and installing.
2) Good chemicals and drugs resistance: PVC pipe has its excellent resistance to the erosion caused by acids and alkalines, a great help to the chemical industries.
3) Small resistance to fluidity: The smooth surface reduces resistance to the fluids. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, much less than other pipes, Under same discharges, smaller cabibre of the pipe can be uesd.
4) Strong mechanical strength: Good resistance to water pressure, outside impact and pressure, is satisfied under any conditions.
5) Structure Engineering, home water supply and drainage
6) Water drainage/supply system
7) for Agriculture Irrigation, aquaculture

Q: What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the automotive industry?
One advantage of using plastic tubes in the automotive industry is their lightweight nature, which can contribute to overall weight reduction in vehicles. This can help improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Additionally, plastic tubes are resistant to corrosion, providing durability and longevity in automotive applications. They are also cost-effective compared to other materials, making them a practical choice for manufacturers.
Q: Plastic tubing is touching compressor (or close to it) and gets hot and brittle. I recoupled a bad spot 1 year ago and it is leaking again. I would like to replace the tubing from the back of the refrig (solenoid) to the water filter. Any ideas on what material to use? I would like to use copper line thru the bottom of the refrig if not all the way to the water filter, but don't know how to connect it to the solenoid. Also would pex (1/4 OD) line be a better (albeit more expensive) choice for this?
You can replace the line with copper. If the connection point is metal you'll want to use a brass compression nut (brass) with a (brass) compression sleeve (know as a ferrules) if the connection point is plastic you'll want to use a nylon compression fitting. The metal ferrules one wont work as you would need to crank the you know what out out it to make it seal, and run the risk of stripping the plastic threads. The nylon takes less torque to seal if that makes sense as its a more dense material. You should be able to get all the parts from a local hardware store or big box store such as lowes or homedepot.
Q: My house is two floors, though I think it was originally a one-story cape cod, and the upstairs was a single semi-second floor/attic. Anyways, the attic is now higher up, but the walls still slope on the sides. The air/heating unit is in the crawl space, duct work runs directly to vents/returns on the first floor, but for the second floor there are these two really large plastic(?) pipes that run up to the second floor from which I believe the ductwork is distributed. What are these called?
Vertical duct work. In general, if forced air, heated, cooled or even unconditioned, goes through it it is called duct work, unless it is an accessory / fitting such as a grille, diffuser, register etc. It's called duct work or vertical duct work if you would like.
Q: My 99 Ford Escort has been making sloshy water sounds and whistling sounds on the passenger side of the car when I run the A/C. I have also noticed that the floor is damp on the passenger side only. If I look up under and behind the glove compartment there is a black plastic box that is covered with condensation within a few minutes of running the a/c. Based on what I've read, this problem is probably a blocked drain rather than the heater core (I live in Florida and haven't touched my heater in 6 months :P). Can anyone confirm? The noise has also been getting worse, I noticed the damp floor a week or two ago, but the water noises have only kicked up the past 2 days. Will running the a/c without fixing it permanently damage anything? If I can't locate the drain to unblock and have to take it into the mechanic, how much would I be looking at? Thanks!
sounds like your rite. also if it where your heater core you would get steam and would smell the anti frez. as for finding the drain try looking in the owners man. or sneak a peek at a chiltons in a parts store.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for electrical wiring protection?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for electrical wiring protection.
Q: It comes in a plastic bag, no information is on it such as what plastic number it is. Tried google but nothing relevant is coming up.PLEASE LIST RESOURCE.Thank you.
I had a lot of trouble with my lungs for a number of years after I contracted chicken pox (went into my lungs). I ended up with quiet a bit of tubing. I had fishtanks, and that tubing is perfect for conecting different air hoses in fishtanks. Same stuff you purchase at the pets stores, and pay quiet a bit for. If you don't have fishtanks yourself, you can offer it to someone who does. It can be re-used on fish tanks quiet safely for the fish. You can offer it for free on Craigslist or Freecycle to someone with fishtanks, if you don't know someone personally. ~Garnet Permaculture homesteading/farming over 20 years
Q: How do I connect the cast iron sewer line with the PVC pipe?
With expansion joint, or quick joint, the expansion joint is cheaper and faster. In any plumbing shop there is a retractable knot. When connecting, use the gauze to polish the outer surface of the original cast iron pipe to prevent leakage.
Q: If I have a 2lb spool of 1.75mm ABS filament, how many 5.25 inch x 2.25 inch (both dimensions are diameters) hollow cylinders with 3 mm thick walls could i print with one spool?
First determine the volume of filament you have: density of ABS =~0.038 lb/in^3 2lb / .038 = 52.6in^3 of material Second, determine the volume of each tube: inner diameter of tube = 5.25in-3mm=5.132in (both of your dimensions cannot be diameters, so I assumed the second was the height, if it's a tubular cone then the height is missing) volume of each tube: = 2.165in^3 per online calculator below. You could double check by calculating the volume of cylinders with the outer and inner diameters separately and then subtracting the results. 52.6 / 2.165=24.3 so you could print approximately 24 tubes
Q: How to deal with dirt in soft plastic pipes?
In addition, UPVC plastic water supply pipe, the new pipe material has high cost, and easy processing, with flame retardant resistance, convenient installation, low cost integrated chemical properties and good properties, the thermal expansion coefficient than steel pipe, flexible connection can more effectively solve the problem of thermal expansion and contraction.
Q: What is the maximum length of plastic tubes available?
The maximum length of plastic tubes available can vary depending on the manufacturer, but they are commonly available in lengths ranging from a few inches to several feet.
