Body of high-performance pipeline ball valve is forged structure.The connection type for body and vice-body can be BB(bolted connection)and WB(welded connection).The WB(welded connection)and the LWB(Fully-welded extended stem)structure isadopted for buried ball valves,as shown below.

)Multi-level structure of the valve seat seal
As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal.When there is pressure in the system medium,the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal.When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.

)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition,medium requirement,sealing requirement,etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force.When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required,valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.

Multi-level structure of stem sealing 
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring,flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange;And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve,which can inject grease.

Ball valve fireproof design is implementation of the API607,API6FA standards.According to service conditions and user requirements,ball valve can be designed as a fireproof structure.

)Fireproof structure of seat
As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring,which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire,the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body.That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring,and prevent the fire from expending.

()Fireproof structure(body and bonnet)
The seal gasket for bolt connecting valve body and valve bonnet,are used fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets.Gasket compression load through the bolts and ultimately,ensure the valve body and valve cover between the metal to metal contact,so that the valve can with stand more high load,but also improve the fire safety of the valve.But for the full welded ball valve,the valve body and cover is welded structure,that fundamentally eliminate the possibillity of leakage of the valve housing.Even in the case of fire damage,there will be no leak.

Q: What are the requirements for valve automation?
Some valves are controlled to maintain a fixed pressure on a system. Others control the level in a tank or vessel while still others actually control the flow rate in a pipe or line. The automatic control of flow through a valve requires a sensor to determine if flow is needed or what the flow rate is. You then need a controller to take this input and then adjust the valve to achieve the desired result. This is called a control loop. Some are all electric/electronic while others are all pneumatic. The valve itself is a specific valve designed to perform the function intended. It is not a good idea to take an existing on/off valve like a gate valve and try to control flow. These type of valves do not have a flow characteristic that is proportion to valve opening while a control valve does.
Q: i disconnected the heater valve because it went bad, but when i removed it i forgot how it came off when i went to the auto parts store. i just need to know what way it should be facing and which hose goes where? can someone please help me?
Heater control valve at heater core? If so the valve is horizontal with the vacuum motor on bottom, the vacuum port pointing towards rear of engine. The heater hoses for heater core are obvious, the hoses from the engine, the hose closest to the valve cover goes to the drivers side of the valve, the hose that wraps around from the front of the engine goes to the passenger side of the valve.

If the EGR valve is opening on Acceleration yes this would cause hesitation,but you have to find out why it is opening if it is.If there is a solenoid controlling the EGR valve this might be the problem.If you can put your finger under the EGR valve when the engine is idling,rev then engine up in park,if you feel the valve opening it is most likly the solenoid
Q: Im 17 with a Bicuspid Aortic valve and hypertension (around 160/85). Only other family member with teenage hypertension is grandfather. Im on 2 different types of hypertension medication which only brings blood pressure down to 138/75. It still jumps to 157/85 on medication. I have leakage of my valve that has not gotten worse or better since starting the medication (first checked in September, medication started in Novemberish, now April). No stenosis yet. Any idea what im looking forward to in next couple years? Or is this stuff spontaneous?

Q: I have a 2004 yfz 450 and in the passed 4 rides (about 2 hours long each), one of my valves has stayed down and been broken when the piston came back up and made contact with it. After putting it back together the first time i checked numerous times to make sure timing, valve movement, and camshaft movement were all correct. and just 2 rides later (today) the same thing happened again. I have not began work on it yet so i do not know if it is the same valve. But has anyone ever had this problem before? Is this something frequent with yfz's or am i missing an important maintence issue? And can anyone tell me why this is happening? All help and tips are much appreciated!! Thanks!!

Q: I have pressure steady at 13psi --- water temp is normal range but the external emergency run valve has been dripping since i turned the boiler on this year? Expansion take was empty, so I forced water through and then drained it and reopened the valve.....I am stuck and getting concerned. Anyone have a suggestion?Would really apprecite it?Additional info:Boiler is a Gas Powered unit by MASTER from the 80's.....
The TP valve will naturally wear out over time, if it has never popped open the washer inside of it has hardened, when you opened it it didn't seat properly when it closed back up, causing the drip. This is not an unusual or dangerous condition, the TP valve will usually wear out before the boiler does, it can be quickly and easily replaced. The valve will still function with a leak, but this reduces the efficiency of the boiler. DO NOT, under any conditions, DO NOT plug the leak by plugging the opening on the valve, this creates the potential for a very dangerous condition, let it drip until it can be replaced.
Q: hi i want to now what a BOV (blow off valve) i no what it does but i dont no the instalation process what pipes and stuff are invalved and were does it go next to the turbo of air intake
Most are designed to install on the intake/turbo piping. They're for the release of pressure surges to keep the turbo safe. Most stock bovs are not capable of raised boost which is why many buy aftermarket ones.
