Product Description of High-performance pipeline ball valve-reduced bore:
High-performance pipeline ball valve is Raymond(RMD)hightech products,as switch control equipment,it is mainly used in natural gas, oil, gas, liquefied natural gas pipeline transmission system and other industries, its anti-sulfur products containing hydrogen sulphide, impurities and high corrosion are suitable for the long-distance natural gas pipeline.
Design Features of High-performance pipeline ball valve-reduced bore:
Body of high-performance pipeline ball valve is forged structure. The connection type for body and vice-body can be BB(bolted connection)and WB(welded connection). The WB(welded connection)and the LWB(Fully-welded extended stem)structure isadopted for buried ball valves,as shown below.
High performance pipeline ball valve series has the feature of strength, high perfect sealing, maintenance-free, long life and so on. The production of this series ball valve adopts the international advanced ball valve design and manufacturing technology, selects high-quality materials in accordance with the standard selection of materials and combines with advanced materials forming forging technology. At the same time, with the years of ball valve design and manufacturing experience, the use of advanced processing and manufacturing equipment and production and processing technology, through the first-class inspection and testing equipment and instruments, perfect quality assurance management system and excellence in the production of high-performance philosophy can ensure the quality of valves. This series of valve has the performance of a high strength, defect-free forging body, excellent sealing performance, even at maximum pressure difference(full pressure),it will still be able to ensure that seal without leakage, after frequent switching action to realize a safe usage in the transportation of oil, natural gas, coal gas, and other special medium transportation pipeline.
The special structure of valve seat seal of High-performance pipeline ball valve-reduced bore:
Floating structure means seat reciprocally can move along channel direction,so as to guarantee the ball and seat are tightly sealed.
(Ⅰ)Valve seat structure suitable for different occasions and sealing requirements
Valve seat can be designed as a standard single-piston effect and specific dual piston effect,Figure1 shows single-piston effect-inletside seal;Figure2 shows Dual Piston effect-outlet-side seal;Figure3 shows special dual piston effect sealing structure
(Ⅱ)Multi-level structure of the valve seat seal
As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal. When there is pressure in the system medium, the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal. When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.
(Ⅲ)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition, medium requirement, sealing requirement, etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force. When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required, valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.
Multi-level structure of stem sealing
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring, flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange; And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve, which can inject grease.
Unique and safe seat structures of High-performance pipeline ball valve-reduced bore:
Ball valve fireproof design is implementation of the API607,API6FA standards.According to service conditions and user requirements, ball valve can be designed as a fireproof structure.
(Ⅰ)Fireproof structure of seat
As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring, which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire, the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body. That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring, and prevent the fire from expending.
(Ⅱ)Fireproof structure(body and bonnet)
The seal gasket for bolt connecting valve body and valve bonnet, are used fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets.Gasket compression load through the bolts and ultimately, ensure the valve body and valve cover between the metal to metal contact,so that the valve can with stand more high load, but also improve the fire safety of the valve. But for the full welded ball valve, the valve body and cover is welded structure, that fundamentally eliminate the possibillity of leakage of the valve housing.Even in the case of fire damage, there will be no leak.
(Ⅲ)Fireproof structure(body/packing and stem)
The body and packing connection gasket adopts fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets. The stem packing adopts flexible graphite to ensure no leakage in case of fire.

FAQ of pipeline ball valve-reduced bore:
Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?
The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.
Q2:Which certification do your products pass?
Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001、ISO 14001、API 6A、API 6D、TS CE、API607/6FA/BS6755.
Q3:How can I place an order?
The only one thing you should do is to tell us the sepecification about type 、quantity and mode of transportation, then we will send you quotation within 24 hours.
- Q: Hi. I looked at instructional videos for installing shutoff valves and instead of simply unscrewing old valve, the plumber simply cut the copper pipe. Is this necessary? Why can't I simply unscrew old shutoff valves from copper pipe?
- Before you think about cutting the pipe. You should know there is water pressure behind it. You must first shut your water off at the meter. If you opt to take on this endeavor by yourself you have some easy options. There are four types of connections to my knowledge. Soldered is most common and very effective but takes know how. Then there is compression, threaded (which involves sweating a connection on the copper, and then some genius has came out with this new type of connector commonly refered to as shark bite or gator bite (those being the top two leading brands). With these connectors all you must do is put the little plastic insert in the pipe then push the connector on. Ta da! Then your done. I would even bet they make a push on connector with the shut off valve. So to recap. Shut off water, cut the copper and remove burs from pipe, take that piece to the hardware store so you know you have the correct size of pipe fitting. Go home and push it on and then turn your water back on and your done.
- Q: What is the functional difference between the following:1. Blow Off Valve2. Dump Valve3. Bypass Valve4. Diverter Valve
- The blow-off valve releases boost pressure into the atomsphere when decelerating to avoid compressor surge. The dump valve bleeds out compressed air produced by the inertional rotation of the turbo impeller into the atomsphere when the throttle valve is closed. The bypass valve does the same thing as the blowoff valve, except that it recirculates the compressed air back into the intake instead of out into the atomsphere. Diverter valve is just another name for blowoff valve.
- Q: We have an ejector in the basement for an in-law apartment. When the check valve kicks in, it can wake us up from a sound sleep. A very loud thunking. Any ideas?
- the check valve would be installed just outside of the crock vertically. The noise I doubt is from the check valve itself. I'd guess it is the pump shutting off and the pipe isn't fastened securely, so it bangs. Check to make sure that the run of pipe leaving the crock is fastened securely. if this is the case the only other option I oculd think of would be to re-position the check valve on a horizontal run of pipe as close to the crock as possible. Most check valves I have seen for ejectors are compression type, it will be messy but not to complicated. Keep a bucket handy, when you crack open that check valve you may need it. Flush the toilet until the pump kicks on a few times, this should clear out most of the nasty stuff. You may also need a short piece of 2 pipe and some couplings to make up for the space of the check valve. If you can hear the water flowing out when the pump kicks on and don't hear it draining back into the crock when it shuts off, the check valve is probably still good.
- Q: i have a zone that - when turnd on by timer or manually only about 1 foot of spray comes out of sprinkler heads (used to wk fine). When i turn the ittle screw on top of valve (its about the size of a dime) water pressure comes up and wks fine - only water leaks at screw and when zone comes on next time NO pressure??? metal valves were just replaces about 1 yr ago.
- It's hard to say exactly what's wrong without knowing what type of valves you have since different valves have different components. In any case, I'd start by checking that the bleed screw and/or handle (depending on type) and that the flow control screw or handle (again depends on what make/model you have) to make sure they are in good condition and properly set. Be careful when turning these screws or handles don't force them past the normal stopping points. If that all checks out, there may be some dirt or debris stuck in the valve that's not allowing the diaphragm to open all the way.
- Q: How do you repack an osy valve? Where do you get the packing from? Do you have to shut down the water to do it?
- where is i get the packing gland material
- Q: Hi, I was wondering if it takes a minute or two for the water to actually turn on after turning the valve? I've turned it as far as I can counter-clockwise but there's still no water. Is there something else that needs to be done to get the water back?
- you should get water immediately unless water is blocked
- Q: Hello, I went to my garage last friday because my exhaust emmisions light was on, on my Bora MK4 2003 52 plate 1.6 16V. They said its a faulty EGR valve which could be from being clogged up with sh*t. But they said it would be fine to drive, and that the rough idle wouldn't harm the car, and to unplug it if the rough idle became annoying. Its now sunday 3 days since the garage diagnosed it I drove about 250 miles over these days. With the exhaust emissions light coming on then sometimes going off. I think the EGR Valve keeps sticking closed and the engine is very hard to start. Is there anything I can do to help start the car? which is better having it plugged in or unplugged? how do you take the EGR Valve out and clean it what tools are needed is it complicated. any ideas on how I can help it start ? I've tried unplugging it, it makes no difference really.
- The EGR valve or Exhaust gas Recirculation valve is placed on the exhaust gadget. those frequently get hung up with rust and different exhaust deposits. The motorcar might want to be less than production unit assure being in easy words 3 years old. i might want to examine with a broking service to work out if the motorcar and/or section continues to be less than assure. A defective EGR valve will reason the computing device to make the incorrect settings to the gas and air mix causing the engine to run too prosperous or too lean. Its no longer too unfavourable contained in the little while period, yet your gas mielage will struggle through, and also you are able to fail a state inspection so get it repaired previously then.
- Q: need a different pump for? Is this some improvement on the old valve?
- first off they are not new ;-) These two standards have been around a long time. valve stems come in two types, schaeder and presta. Now i sometimes get these mixed up but I think Presta is the narrower valve. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me ;-) Either way there are these two types. Here we are referring to width/diameter not length. the thicker valves are usually on mountain bikes, some comfort bikes. the thinner narrower valves are usually on road bikes, some cross bikes, the type with skinny tires. Most bike pumps these days whether floor pump to mini pump will work for *both* Schaeder and Presta. The valve end on your pump (unless it's a piece of c*^ from Wallmart) SHOULD simply unscrew, reverses and voila! You can now pump up the tires of your MTB and your road bike or help another rider out! Now, on to your actual question ;-) Sorry for the drift. the long valve stems have to do with Aero wheels. These are rims, usually carbon that are designed to be very narrow and literaly slice the wind for faster acceleration. these are usually road bike rims, the skinny tires. Examples of Aero rims would be like Rolf Elan. Because of the design of the aero rim a longer valve stem is needed or it would literaly be lost within the carbon rim. But you don't have to have aero rims to have a tube with a longer stem. The stems on most tires are available in long, short, medium. I like to have the length match, it's just an aesthetic thing. But the function is exactly the same and the difference in weight is negligable. So to sumarise if you have aero rims you *must* choose tubes with a longer valve stem. If you don't have aero rims you can use them if you like, doesn't really matter, it's all what you like. but you do not need a different pump.
- Q: I have just been diagnosed with a Mitral Valve disorder. The Doc's notes say Trace Center Regurgitation. Also Trivial Tricuspid Regurgitation. In simple terms, what do these things mean, what causes it, and how do you treat it?
- If there is regurgitation but it's minimal, you likely have little to worry about. Mitral Valve disorder is commonly known as a heart murmur. Many people have them. It's only when there's regurgitation involved that it becomes more complicated. Since yours is trace and trivial it definitely requires investigation. At some point they may want to do a repair of the valve or a replacment but that depends on the degree of regurgitation. Regurgitation simply means that the valve does not close properly when the heart pumps out blood. It is the abnormal leaking of blood from the left ventricle, through the mitral valve, and into the left atrium, when the left ventricle contracts, i.e. there is regurgitation of blood back into the left atrium. Treatment will depend on the severity of the regurgitation so it's something you'll need to discuss with your doctor/specialist.
- Q: I am looking for a full valve guitar amp for around ?300.It needs to be loud enough to play with a quietish drum kit.Currently i have looked at an epiphone valve senior in both and combo and cab and head form. i have also looked at some smaller amps such as the vox ac4 but am a bit worried about its small size. any advice would be greatly welcome. many thanks in advance.
- Well I have the Valve Jr. and the AC4. The AC4 is a good sounding amp, but even though it is only 1 watt less, the Valve Jr. is much louder. The AC4 is a great practice amp but not enough to jam with a drummer unless he is pretty quiet and you really crank the amp. Never heard one of the new Valve Sr. models but with all of the goodies they added it should sound really good. I had my Jr. modified but it still doesn't have all the cool stuff the Senior has. I think you would really like the Epiphone and at 20 watts you will be more than loud enough. My 5 watt Jr. will get very loud. All I own are low watt class A valve amps, it's the only way to fly!! The Marshall Class 5 might be worth looking at also.
