- Q: like if i want to pick up a used sofa or mattress to use but maybe the previous owner had pets or was a smoker, what is a good way to clean an sanitize mainly cloth furniture like a couch or mattress.
- well honestly i would not do that you are just bringing a problem into your own home.... buy new or get something from family vacuum it and lysol and air it...sun helps... *(*
- Q: Unfortunately Black or White will not work because we have pets and a baby and it will get too dirty too fast. We're looking for stretch slipcovers for our old funiture, and surefit doesn't have anything great. Also, we have a large black and white painting above the sofa. Please help!
- Since you can't use the colors black or white, I would suggest a yellow or gold color that complements the paint color. Not an exact match but in the family. Why don't you just take the ottoman and picture out? Then you wouldn't be as limited to colors.

- There's nothing more classic than a brown leather sofa. ANYTHING goes with it!!! Just don't make the mistake of thinking that the rest of your upholstery (chairs) should also be leather!!! Add an area rug (at least a 5x7), then add a solid color chair or 2...a color from the area rug. The area rug adds texture pulls together the seating area. It's your inspiration point for accessories wall decor paint. If there are colors in adjoining rooms, coordinate by bringing some of that color in that room as well. (P.S. Condition your leather twice a year to keep it supple.)

- I have a leather couch that came with two small cushions to put of either end, in the same leather as the couch. Then, I bought two small cushions that same size as the ones that came with the couch in dark, muted colors in wide stripes to put in front of them, it looks great.
- Q: i live in the states but i am currently in germany visiting my husband because he is in the us military and is stationed here. i have been here for almost two weeks and upon my arrival my husband was told i was only allowed to stay for 90 days, however, i have done some research and learned that i do not have to adhere to the 90 days because i am staying on a us military base and i may exceed the 90 days as long as my passport has a SOFA stamp which proves i am a dependent of a us soldier stationed in a foreign country or something like that. my questions are:do i have to be command sponsored and living with my husband in germany to be able to obtain a SOFA stamp ?if not, what are the required documents needed to obtain a SOFA stamp ?where can i go to get the SOFA stamp ?any additional information is appreciated. please and thank you so much for your help i am looking forward to staying longer than 90 days because i want to be with my husband as long as i can before he has to deploy.
- In order to gain sofa status u must be in your husbands orders to the overseas base. He has to hav accompanied orders and you listed as the dependent who is accompanying him. When me and my children pcs'd with my husband upon entering the country over seas in which he is stationed I had to present my husbands orders. To obtain my sofa license which allows you to drive in another country and work I took the class on base and received if from security forces my husband is air force. But I do know that you can stay longer than 90 days if you exit the country and then return the following dAy,you can research Germay's visa laws and it will mention something about getting a longer visa. This is your best option or your husband can put in to amend his orders so they are accompanied and you can move there for the remainder of his tour. Depending on how long he has left of his tour it may not be worth it because amending orders takes time.

- Well you haven't finished the question but I guess that the answer that you want is 700 + 225S = TC (S stands for the number of sofas made, and TC stands for total cost) Total cost normally consists of a fixed cost (overheads) + a variable cost per sofa (materials labour etc that vary with the number that are made) That being the case then $3850 = FC + 14VC $2725 = FC + 9VC Use the elimination method of solving simultaneous equations (3850 - 2725) = (FC - FC) + (14VC - 9VC) $1125 = 5VC Divide both sides by 5 $225 = VC As $2725 = FC + 9VC $2725 = FC + 9*225 $2725 = FC + $2025 $700 = FC Therefore we know that the fixed cost = $700 and the Variable Cost = $225 Therefore the equation that I reckon that you require is Total Cost = $700 + $225S (where S stands for the number of sofas made)
